Not much to report. Had my hair done yesterday which only came to £65 for a much needed colour and cut. I was expecting it to be far more.

Then another earlyish night for me while I get used to 2 extra early alarms! I keep flipping between "this is a great thing working full time again" to "oh dear! this won't work for me!" I'll wait and get other things off my mind before I make any specific decisions in the work hours area. Maybe seeing a pay day and my savings boost will help that decision. I do know the job I'm doing isn't a part time job though, so need to take that into consideration.

Weekend almost here for us all! I have the hospital appointment in the morning and then not much else planned, so I will declutter. I still have loads of clothes to sell on eBay and I'll also look through all of my books and see what I can remove from there too. Shoes too! Those are my 3 biggest clutters.

We're in for some nice weather this weekend too! Have a great one!

These 2 day weekends really shoot by, don't they? I had my hospital appointment on Saturday morning and was also scheduled in for another test this morning, which was another appointment they opened up for me. Thank goodness I get free parking at the hospital. Saturday examination have taken various swabs and I also need a laparoscopy, so I need to wait for an appointment for that. Today was a little more thorough and I've been told to see my Dr in the morning as the results are immediate and accessible to my Dr online. I have 2 really important meetings tomorrow so I'll go on Tuesday instead. I asked if she had found anything but she's not qualified to tell me or deal with the repercussions of an emotional response so I didn't push it.

Other than that I've just wanted to sleep. So I listened to my body and have done that. A close family friend passed away unexpectedly on Friday and with various other things going on I think I've pushed my body a bit this week. I'm hoping to feel more refreshed for next week as I've got a lot on.

Friday I had another new trainee and he was very relaxed and confident so I don't think he will need my help for long. I'm going to set him free and let him run the show next week to see how he connects everything together.

The other youngster trainee is still away so the intensity of his attention has calmed down. Until I know what this health concern is I'm just not in the right frame of mind anyway.

I'm feeling in limbo so I'm hoping I'll have some answers this week and can start concentrating on my new full time hours and responsibilities.

I hope you all had a great weekend. MTxx

I'm glad you posted as I wondered how the appointment on Saturday went. I'm also glad you listened to your body and caught up on sleep this weekend. I hope you can put this out of your mind and focus on your job until Tuesday . Thinking of you :) xx

    Hi MT

I'm glad your appointments were straightforward and that you're listening to yourself for sleep and relaxation. Hope your meetings go well tomorrow and will be thinking of you on Tuesday.

    Thank you DIA and Rosa.

I don't think I will go to the Dr tomorrow unless they call me as they'll probably need results from both appointments before speaking to me.

It was such a struggle getting up again this morning! I'm actually looking forward to when it starts to feel normal again! :D

Over the weekend I did some research on what's available for the same price I'm trying to sell my house for and I was pleasantly surprised that it's just the decorating/tired look that's potentially holding me back. I was a bit concerned that others had extensions and conservatories etc, but that's not the case.

So, I'm considering taking mine off the market again for a few months while I sort a few things out and, during that time, get some decorating done. School summer holidays are notorious for a slower buyers market anyway so seems like the best time. I still have lots more to declutter and I think it would be a good idea to focus my attentions on that. At the moment I'm trying to constantly keep my house up to viewing standards so it makes pulling out and organising the "clutter" a bigger faff.

I'm meeting my close friend J tonight, hopefully. Really excited about being able to meet around 4:30pm rather than our usual 6:30pm rush around.

Happy Monday all! Let this be the start of a new and great week! ;)

Decided to phone the Dr and the tests are in a queue to be looked at and reported on, so no need to visit. I'm thinking about all this way too much, so I'll give us all a break from it for a while.:o

I've now got an extra free evening this Wednesday and my weekend plans have just cancelled. I can't help but feel a bit relieved. It gives me a chance to get used to my new days and hours while pottering about at home too.

Lunch was very cheap today but could still have done better. I have a cake at home that I'm tempted to bring in for everyone too! It's a caterpillar chocolate cake that I bought for a friend but didn't give it to them as they'd commented before I saw them that they were sick of cake and still had 2 more to get through! :( So I kept it back and now don't know what to do with it other than let it loose here.

I've had an email with a 0% cash transer offer for me which I'm really tempted to take so that I can get those decorating jobs done without it affecting my savings pot. The fee is really small too and I can earn that back easily by keeping it in my interest earning account while I continue to declutter.

I've also been doing some more sb'ing so that I can get to my £50 voucher amount. Then I can forget about those apps for a while.

Isn't it beautiful out again? I hope at least some of you are able to enjoy the sun today.

  • Hi MT

Glad you had a chilled out weekend, unlike myself lol.

Going from three days to five doesn't sound much but I know how you feel. I've been offered another day a month starting next month and I really need the money but then I think that's another day of getting up early. Obviously I'm going to take it lol but I will hate that alarm clock lol.

    Take care.

I think I'm ok with the 5 days, but only getting 2 days off each week feels like a sacrifice!!! :D

Well done on the extra day. Hopefully that'll be a noticeable difference in your money. MTxx

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning! Not like me to wake up feeling grumpy but I didn't sleep too well so it's probably just tiredness. healer.gif

Last night was lovely. I met J straight after work and he took me Pokey hunting!!! I'm not into it, but it's such a cute app. We then went for a coffee and juice, which I paid for, just because. A really nice catch up. 2.gif

My meetings went well yesterday at work. I'm still learning a lot of it, and getting really busy too, so now I need to make sure I stay focused and organised.

I forgot to bring the cake in to work!!! Although, much better to have Hump Day Cake Day, I think! So need to remember that for the morning. clap.gif

I've got a show to do tonight for the youngster who's away at the moment. He's given me some songs to play so I can advertise him and his show again. One of my previous trainees is going to join me, which will be lovely as I've not seen her in almost a year! Really looking forward to that.

Ooh, and I've got a lunch tomorrow with one of the guys who worked in my department. I bumped into him yesterday and we arranged that, so I have absolutely no reason to be grumpy! Things are good today!!! snapoutofit.gif

    Have a great Tuesday! MTxx

Swagbucks sale meant I could order 2 x £25 Amazon vouchers for the SB's I had rather than needing another 300! Very happy that's done and will go towards my Christmas gift buying.
