My Journey To My Pot Of Gold

I fell asleep on my train home yesterday, so by the time I got home I didn't have time to update myself, let alone YNAB. However, I have just sat and gone through it all and it's not only updated but it completely reconciled with no exceptions. So all accounts firmly up to date. I've also written out my budget for September, and it's going to be tight in some places, but it's manageable when you consider I'm not at home for 10 days. All food is provided on the holiday so it's just making sure I don't squander any money on souvenirs.
I had a fantastic evening last night, after getting home much later than expected. Mr 3TL came over and we just chilled and then he stayed over and we got to just talk and laugh together.
He's coming over tonight as we're both off on separate holidays tomorrow so just want to cram some time in together.
I haven't even started to prepare today's radio playlist, so best get on with that. I don't have anyone to train during my show, so also need things to chat about. Panic on now!
Have a lovely Friday everyone. MTxx0 -

I'm back and very happy to be home! It was a lovely week, but really not my thing and now it's done and normal life resumes.
I did spend much more than I expected to. Not on souvenirs, but on some tops (very much needed) and a bracelet (absolutely not needed). As I'd bought things in Guernsey and Dublin I managed to get them for a lot cheaper than if I'd bought them locally, but I do realise that I went a little mad.
I've not updated YNAB, although I'm not worrying about it too much. That's mainly because I had an unexpected and surprise backpayment which I've put onto my credit card, so that's looking a lot nicer. I do need to sit and go through YNAB to figure out my financial worth for September.
Now I'm back and have updated myself on everyone's diary and it's given me a lovely little nudge towards Christmas approaching. So, I've set up my SBTV on my phone and have some videos going now to boost those points. I've also purchased a £40 amazon voucher to get the £10 free. So that's out of my gift fund which I'll transfer across shortly.
Now I'm home I need to think about getting fit again. I actually need to make that a priority as I'm feeling quite low in that area. I'll give myself a few days to catch up on proper sleep and then figure out a fitness plan.
Rosa has got me thinking a lot about the Passion Planner I'd like, so I may start putting a bit aside to treat myself to that for Christmas. The thing that bothers me though is that it's a US product and postage costs around the same as the product! Hmmm! I may contact them and see if they have any UK distributors.
Well, I hope everyone's had a lovely week and that this week has also started well. I've missed you all! I genuinely did!

Thank you for the welcome back message Sam. It's lovely to be back, although I wish I'd had a little more time to get things updated online.
I'll wander in to read your diary shortly. MTx0 -
Not a great deal to report. I have started spending silly money on buying myself a breakfast the past 2 days! I think I need to spend Friday morning getting myself up to date online with finances and to figure things out going forward so that I have a plan to follow.
I've been swagbucking and yesterday I managed to let the videos run until I'd earned all possible points on that. I also managed to go on the website and watch a few bits on there too to boost it. It's great because I hardly notice it going on.
Last night Mr 3TL came over, although he's been quite poorly this week. We watched The Purge on Netflix and oh my goodness, what rubbish! I should have known as it got 2/5 stars on Netflix, but I do tend to prefer to make my own opinion. Fortunately it's not a really long film!
I think I'm catching his bugs now though as I'm starting to feel a bit green this morning. I've got a couple of important meetings today so hopefully the day will go by ok. I'm also meant to be out this evening with a friend I've not seen for a while. As much as I love seeing him, I wouldn't be too fussed if he had to cancel (he's warned he may do due to a work commitment this afternoon). Maybe an early night is all I need to beat this.
Oh, yes, I received an email from my phone network provider, letting me know that my bill is currently £130.00 over it's usual monthly amount (£11.00). Oops! That'll be the 3 hour phone call from France to England while I was away! I don't actually regret it though, so just need to learn from it!
So, although I've not done enough to really bring on the dancing girls, I still think that a gloomy Wednesday needs a little boost, so for your entertainment here they are ....
I hope everyone is having a great week! We're at the hump again already. Whatever you're all doing, I hope it's fun and chocolate filled!

My goodness I don't think I've had a phone bill over £100 since I was in my teens! The days before 'unlimited texts'
Glad you had a nice time. The bracelet whilst not an intentional souvenir, it will still be a reminder of your holiday so maybe a little more justifiable:D
I will try and get back into swagbucks, I do lack patience these days and the points are a lot slower coming forward than I remember!!MFW
