Sorry for not posting last weekend. Have been ill which included a hospital visit.

Hope you are feeling better Durham-mim.
Have been away for a few days. Walked the legs off myself over 3 days in London, will post a very conservative 12 miles towards the challenge. Still managed to put on weight despite being really good about what I ate. Some of it, I am sure was fluid as my feet were swollen to twice their usual size by the time I got home lol!!
Some of it is coming off already, so will post my weight on Wed to see what the damage is.
Fred, I will attempt the 5lb challenge again this month. Will join the North team and North Run Challenge.0 -
Just back from a 6.89 mile walk, done a wee mile yesterday (would have been more, but the kids wanted to play by a stream rather than go the whole walk with mum and dog).
So 7.89 miles to finish off.0 -

Weighed myself today as I wont have access to scales tomorrow.
+ 5 gain from last weigh in :mad:
I have decided not to weigh myself now until the end of Sept, so will only be posting my weight then if that is OK Fred. Have found the STS and now the gain quite frustrating over the last month so I am going to try to find other ways of measuring my success.
I am starting on a fitness programme recommended by my daughter (Fitness Blender on YouTube) Will do my fitness test before I start tonight and then again at the end of the month. I am also going to take my waist measurement this morning and again at the end of the month. Hoping by not purely focusing on weight I will be able to keep motivated.0 -
only 1/2lb loss this week.
back to work proper this week so back to being on my feet for most of the day. Walk count for Sept so far is 5.8miles.
Jess, sorry to hear things are not going to plan. I think you are right to concentrate on other ways to "record" your successes.
