Thanks Fredsnail!
Is cheese on a jacket potato bad? Because that or Heinz spaghetti is all i'll generally have.
Hadn't thought about a home made pizza! That's my down fall usually as I love pizzas!
Can I PM you? Sounds like you have some great ideas!0 -
Welcome Phyzelda, I definitely wouldn't waste my money on slim fast, think I would feel deprived if I didn't eat at lunchtime.
Jacket potatoes are good, I usually microwave one before I leave for work and then just warm it up and add the filling at lunchtime. I usually either have cottage cheese or tuna but cheese is fine. I have recently also been having sweet potato for a change.
What kind of food do you usually eat when not trying to lose weight? Sometimes just a few changes can make all the difference.
I personally am just reducing my carbs, so have eliminated bread, cereal, rice and pasta. It works for me, but everyone is different.
You have come to the right place for support, keep logging in, it does help. Good luck.0 -
Cheese on Jacket Potato isn't always bad - I use the half fat mature cheddar from Tesco - it tastes ok and because it's mature I use less of it.
Yes you can pm me if you want - or you can post on the thread - everyone can chip in if you do that. :j0 -
Just checking in, 3lb loss this week, only managed 2 miles walking though.0

STS since last week and what a "struggle" that was. Usual biking but more gardening last week. Calories per week about the same. Soon be blackberry season so short walks needed in the near future. Not so good at walking but the potential big supply of free fruit motivates me.0

1lb loss this week, five hours brisk walking, slowgoing this week thanks to being out of sorts. Hoping to get cracking again soon.
Good luck for next week everyone xxa penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -
Here's this weeks chart:

Not done much this week as I have not been too well. Just a virus, but as usual it has kicked off my asthma and everything feels like an effort.
Weight still 'stuck' and feel I need to do the exercise to kick start some loss, so feeling a bit frustrated. Hopefully get home walking done tomorrow.
Thanks for the reminder about the blackberries Dannie, might venture out tomorrow and see how they are doing around here.0 -
Hi jess444,
Around here, the blackberries look like a couple of weeks before they are ready. Hope you feel better soon.0
