Yes the exercise can take in any exercise - including walking that you do during the day - though general walking will count for less miles than more strenuous exercise if that makes sense.

    Thanks Fred,

a 3lb loss this week, using recipes from the hairy bikers diet book for inspiration.

I don't think i will keep up this rate when school comes back. I will be back at the desk job 3 days a week.

  • Just back from weigh in, 4lb loss this week.

Was working most of the week and only managed 4.74 miles walking. Must try harder.

Well done everyone, and thanks for all the efforts Fred.

    Hi everyone, especially the newbies!

I've been AWOL for the past couple of weeks - completely forgot the week before last, and then I wasn't at home to weigh myself last Wednesday. Sad to report that I've only lost a paltry -0.8lbs in the past three weeks :( Not surprising though, as I've been eating out lots as usual, and plenty of alcohol-fuelled nights out too. At least I haven't gained, I suppose. Really want to get down another 2lbs to hit the 4 stone lost mark (I love milestones, lol). I've got a holiday coming up in September with two of my (slim) friends, so I'd like to lose as much as possible by then, before we hit the pool.

Hope everyone else has done better this week! I'm away for nine days from Friday, so won't be able to weigh in next week. Will probably also be overeating, but I'll try to restrain myself as much as possible :rotfl: See you in a fortnight!

Another STS for me please Fred.

Exercise this week so far -

    4 miles walk
    1 hour ballroom dancing
    45 min Spin
    34 lengths swimming - 25m pool.

As you can see I way short of the 45 lengths a day I challenged myself to do!!! Will try harder next week.

Good luck with the weight loss everyone.

Thanks Syman - the challenge started on the 1st of Aug so I'll add this exercise to our Blackpool Tower challenge that was for July. Next chart will get added to the new challenge - hope that's ok?

STS this week, darn. 40 mins aerobics, four hours brisk walking.

A few strange weeks at work coming up, hoping I can fit in more aerobics over the next while, we'll see!

Been doing well with eating veggie snacks though, hope that good behaviour pays off soon ;)
