So glad since I cancelled Sky and switched to Netflix I don't have to watch adverts anymore.

I'm still queasy from that toe-curling cringefest that is the 'Sound of Music' Great British bake off promo...

Same here, I hate cookery progs anyway. The best ads IMO are for Carling, and I like any ads with cats in them. :)

sounds like a lot of people could do with finding an alternative pastime to watching TV. Try it sometime !
    :-)

I do have quite a few other interests but I like watching tv. I hate ads which is why I like the BBC and wish all channels could be ad free. I would willing pay a higher licence fee for that

Wait, you mean a mutual liking of barbecue sauce doesn't make for a perfect relationship?

Well my marriage has been founded on a sham.

To be honest this whole thread is a bit like that.

I mean: whoever thought that ads would be cheesy, sentimental, and give the product undue prominence? That's outrageous.

I could throw my shoe at the telly each time the Money Supermarket advert is on.

Whats a bloke wearing high heels and a pair of shorts prancing around got to do with saving money?

Havent got a clue as to what Sharon Osbourne is doing there either.

Seems like the ad has done its job, it has you all talking about it.

Personally, I think you need to get out more if you have nothing better to do than start a thread about an advert :)

It always amuses me seeing the shot where there are four of them in the bed (two people & two puppets).

I'm sure I must have a least favourite ad - struggling to think what it might be. Oh, yes, the stupid Haribo ones where the adults have baby voices - argh!!!!!!!!
