New McDonalds Advert - first date couple

Am I to read from this advert that it did not go well (her looking bored in the exhibition, putting wrong name in bowling etc) ?

Also with the order he placed in McD's I'd think he'd be obese...

And who wanted to slap the two people serving? Answers on a postcard...

I detest that stupid advert.

And all the other silly Maccy ads! Like the frankly pretty weird one, with the old man smiling and staring at the young lads.

As for the one in question... if all you have in common is MACDONALDS, just get your coat and leave. :rotfl:
Proud to have lost over 3 stone (45 pounds,) in the past year! :j Now a size 14!

Second point is daft - it's an order, how are you to know the gentleman doesn't work out 7 days a week for 2 hours a pop, the occasional McDonalds will not cause obesity.....

Almost all ads annoy me but this one is totally stupid. As I said to OH, "so you don't have anything in common except crap food and that's supposed to make you an ideal couple is it?"
The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie

I said to my partner, in reaction to that advert where a bank reunites a new father with his childhood scarf, 'When did we become all sentimental and American?'.

I've noticed a raft of cheesy positive adverts with sickly sentiments.

If you think back to the Oxo ads, they teased each other and neglected the mum a bit. If they made the Oxo ads now, they'd be saccharine.

That Nationwide advert gives me the dry boak.

I don't know if it's shown down south, but up in Scotland, there's a Scottish bank that features a child narrating a trip down memory lane for when his parents were courting and how the nice bank (think the taxpayer bailed it out with billions) lent them the money to buy their lovely family home.

    That's also puke inducing.

    The nationwide advert is perfection.

Has me in tears every time.

    I hope that is sarcasm.

Cinema Paradiso is one of the few films that made me cry.

If an advert, cynically designed to flog goods or services, made me weep, this would be very bad indeed.
