Mrs MP key is the stems, GHW had purple tinges and hairs, google image 'giant hogweed stems' and you will see straight away. These are present even in young plants to help identify before they are giant.

DD's bedroom has been "mum" cleaned, just need to de-web the blooming textured ceiling and then vacuum. I even corralled all her school work for the past 3 years into 2 boxes ready to be sorted out. Her school have just tweeted that they've finally put the dates on the website for next year, so I've written them up in my diary straight away. She doesn't go back until the 7th September due to various inset days so she's off for 7 weeks  I'm sure I can find plenty to keep her occupied with all I want to get done, and if she utters the words "I'm bored" I'm going to make her walk the dog ;) I foresee the dog exhausted and begging for her to go back to school by mid-August.

My plan to walk to meet DD tonight may be shelved, the forecast is rain with the chance of a thunderstorm from 5pm-6pm, then 7pm-9pm which is typical. It best not rain in the next 2 hours as I'm about to put more towels out on the washing line!

Off to finish the jobs upstairs minus the dog as he hates the vacuum cleaner. I think I'll scrub the bathroom again as well while I'm up there as there's dog hairs all over the place :rotfl:

That's good that you can stay in touch, CY x are you staying in, or is it a "day trip"? X

Sorted DDs wardrobe. Has taken much of the afternoon whilst also watching Cinderella. Lots can escape. I do not need to keep every hand me down passed on to us... Especially ones neither of us like!

All her school stuff is packed away - nicki ours are off till 9th and DD finished yesterday so eight blimmin weeks for her! 7.5 for DS, who finishes tomorrow. She doesn't need any more uniform - just a cardi with the logo which is already ordered. And shoes. Her shoes are minging!

Right, we're off to get DS!

    Been awol. Apologies.

Have had niggle toothache for a few weeks. Anyway Tues morn was I'm agony so off to dentist I went. She said a filling had cracked and the tooth behind had a hole. She filled me there n then. Was in lots of jip all day.

Then Dh had to take dd2 to a n e as she tripped n landed on her arm heavily. Same one as she broke last year. Thankfully no break this time.

I have procrastinated far too much this week but have kept up dailies and have done downstairs loo. Terrible progress.

Am off all weekend so will do a bit of catching up alongside a geocaching jaunt I think and I have a 50th birthday party to go to on Saturday

Taking kids to beavers tonight for a water fight....

Good morning all, I did not get on to post yesterday as it chaos, as dh was taken into hospital. I am going to update my list to try and keep focused on what I need to get done.
Having been through this last September, I completely empathise. Hope all is well, and that he's home soon. x

*waves back to CY* I'm pretty much sidelined too, just now.:o

Good news is that Ronnie's completely over what ailed him yesterday, and has decluttered a plate of dins with only minimal persuasion.:o

GWS vibes to all who need them.:o:o
