Funnily enough as soon as I went to look at the Telford and Wrekin Council website to do a bit of background research about this retail site a pop-up came regarding 'scam awareness week'!
Read and digest the NEWBIES thread and prepare the soft appeal.
A poster will be back with more info but you won't need to pay anything.
Complaining to the retailers you visited is a good starter and they through the managing agents can cancel.REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0 -
I'm going to look at the template letters and do it with my husband
Multi tasking? Concentrate on the NEWBIES sticky for now. I'm sure your husband can wait! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Don't try to judge which challenges in the 1st appeal template letter (highlighted in blue in the **NEWBIES!! sticky thread - post #1) are relevant - they all are.
The keeper should use it as is - no amendments or additions.
I think it's PE there isn't it? So the appeal can be submitted via their on-line appeal portal - (but if posted - go to the post office and get a free certifcate of posting.)
When you get a rejection (yes - that's the most likely response) and a POPLA code from them - come back here to your thread for help drafting a winning POPLA appeal.0 -
Yes it's parking eye. Just seen the online appeals bit. It's a parking charge notice, no mention of penalty. I've been reading the BPA codes of practice.0

just use the template letter "as is" by attaching it to your online appeal on the PE website, no changes, just do it
it will likely be rejected and you will get a popla code
then you draft a popla appeal similar to the hundreds that have been posted on here, preferably a recent 2015 popla appeal , adapting it to suit and not missing the popla deadline
yes its unfair
not you did nothing wrong
complain to the retail park, managing agent or retailers with proof of patronage and insist the charge is cancelled (do this as welll as appealing, not instead of)0 -

Already had contact with Smyths toys. Useless. I'm insulted by their response actually. Hopefully Pizza Hut will be better. What would I sat to the property management? I feel so ignorant, no idea how to word it.0

Include in your appeal that you were a genuine shopper. Include copies of till receipts. Parking Eye often drop cases of genuine shoppers.0

You will no doubt appreciate that some type of car park management is needed to ensure there is adequate parking for our genuine customers and to ensure that people do no abuse the car park facilities - this inevitably happens when there is no car park management in place.
The Management of the car park and subsequent appointment of any car park management company is the responsibility of the Managing Agents who manage and look after the retail park and the Landlord; we are tenants have no say in the matter nor do we have any contact with the car park management company.
We apologise for any upset caused to you but unfortunately this matter is outside of our control'
^thats Smyths toys. I don't believe e that they have NO control or influence whatsoever. And they seem
To imply that I am
One of the people 'abusing the facilities' or not being a genuine customer, since they state this is the reason for parking management.0 -
Would suggest you remove the 1st line of the post above.
The parking companies trawl the forums seeking to tie posters in with PCN's issued.0
