advice on Parking eye at Telford bridge retail park

In advance, thank you so much for any help you can give.
I parked at Telford Bridge retail park with my almost 2 yr old and 4 year old just y, and left under the impression I was within the 3 hour free parking time. However shortly after getting home I checked what time I made a call to my husband in the way there, and realised I might have been there a little over 3 hours. I think there was an option to pay £5 after 3 hours, which I'd like to see if I can pay now if that's in any way possible. Is this at all likely? I'd love to stop stressing out over this honest mistake and just pay £5 amd get a proper nights sleep(too busy trying to recall timings last night) without worrying about an extortionate charge coming in the post sometime.
I didn't see any machines there or any details about how to pay this, just saw '3 hours free' and '£5 thereafter' or similar somewhere on a sign as I was coming into the car park and simultaneously managing the mini roundabout. I actually didn't worry about how to pay as I did not believe we'd come anywhere near 3 hours, but there were numerous delays, mostly involving my youngest (like taking off shoes without telling me which I only noticed as we were about to leave!!)
Okay I'm sure more details are needed but I'm drawing a blank now so any more info required just ask.
Again, thanks so much for your time.

Just wait and see if you get a PCN before 14 days are up. If so come back and it can eventually get killed off.REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0

I'm curious if they always send a letter to all late stayers? Do they ALWAYS have cameras on? Do they sometimes let people off on quiet days? I'm kind of assuming that I'm guaranteed to get a charge rather than it being a 50/50 possibility?
I'd love not to be worried about it but I guess it's a case of it'll be embarrassing for me as my husband is the named owner so he'd likely get the letter and I'll be horrified at the fuss required to see them off. I have seen the pinned posts etc here as well as the templates for letters so I'm prepared ish if need be, but it'd be lovely NOT to be treated like a criminal and more like an honest person that made an honest mistake!0 -
assume the cameras are always on
assume they always send a NTK to the RK
even if there was only one vehicle there, they would still enfoce their rules
PROFIT BEFORE PEOPLE , that is their mantra
its a civil matter, not a criminal matter, so nobody will be treated as a criminal
its an invoice, nothing more0 -
Ps. The retailers did well off me. We did lunch at Pizza Hut and bought a £35 paddling pool and a £5 book from smyths toys! So I will certainly speak to them if need be.0

do so, asap if you get a pcn in the post
keep receipts and copy them , plus any bank statements, but redact personal info on the copies
come back here if you need further advice , if a pcn arrives to your husband0 -
Unfortunately these multi-retailer sites are cash cows for the likes of Parking Eye. The landowner is probably involved (an extra income stream) taking a rake-off from the PPC. Avoid these sites if you can, otherwise limit your stay. No wonder internet shopping is evermore popular with the likes of PE around.REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0

Seems unfair that this is out of my hands now. If I could just somehow contact them and pay the fee I would've paid yesterday if I'd known it was required that would be so simple.this way they'll waste money chasing me And theirs and my time, because no way in hell am I paying some insane fee to those thieving you know what's! I do avoid it usually. Meole brace is free parking All day and a lot closer to me, but We wanted that specific paddling pool only available at Smyths andthey won't let us order it online.0

So I got a ticket. I'm concerned about appealing and not winning and having to pay £100 instead of the £60 they will take within 14 days! According to this, including photos, I stayed over by 37 minutes!! As expressed above I did not know this! And I did not see any details on how to pay if I overstay. I saw a sign on my way in on the mini roundabout.
I'm going to look at the template letters and do it with my husband but I'm still a bit worried this won't be classed as 'unfair' in legal eyes. I didn't leave the site at all, I only shopped there, I wasn't using the retail site inproperly, my mistake was not be careful
Enough about the time. Is that fair?0 -
Also looking into who to contact at the retailers0
