Hi.
Is it possible to get confirmation document of money transfer done in app? For example I sent money to recipient and want to give him some kind of confirmation that I have sent money to him? Like some form of signed pdf or something? Cant find this functionality and simple screenshot is not enough.0 -

It seems highly unlikely, probably too much to expect with a service that's totally free, after all.
Do you doubt that he will acknowledged having received it?
There is an option to enter the recipient's email address or sms phone number for a notification to be sent, when you set up the transfer.
After five working days it's not received, you can ask Revolut CS to look into it. If it failed they will tell you why and return the funds to your balance. Presumably if it was actually received they will tell you that. I have no experience of that instance or of asking for documentary proof, it would be best to use a bank for a transfer that needs to be proven.Evolution, not revolution0 -
The situation is like: I live in UK. Im buing holiday travel in some big company in Germany - have to bank transfer money to their account in Germany. Then I have to provide proof of this transfer in their branch office in Poland where I actually will be dealing with this holiday travel purchase. People working in this branch office wont be able to check if I actually paid for my holidays to their german account and require some document proofing this from me at the time I will be in their branch office. Simple android screenshot from Revolut app might be not enough.0

Hiya,
When you say you can not withdraw VND into a bank account but can withdraw from an ATM; what do you mean?
In layman's terms, if I load my revolut card with £'s before i go, and then attempt to pay in a hotel or withdraw VND from an ATM in Vietnam will it allow me t do so? I just want to know if it works in Vietnam and Hong Kong. Your website says the card works in 90 countries but doesn't have a page detailing which countries these are.
Thanks and sorry to be a dunce, i'm new to this.0 -

My experience is mixed
I have used it across Europe - Majorca, Prague, Dublin, Brussels
Needed a passport copy due to exceeding limits
Used it to book flights for USA and New Zealand
Used it in New Zealand until today when it has been locked
Contacted support and now waited an hour to no avail
Support seems to be under resourced, based upon when it was locked before
In summary, good when all goes well, but make sure you have a back up plan due to lack of resources / speed of response in support department0 -
Wanted to give my experiences as lots of mixed reviews here.
Discovered this about 2 weeks before my holiday to France and was very skeptical as seemed too good to be true also wasn't sure I'd get the card in time but it arrived within a week.
The App totally crashed on first use after ordering my card and it wouldn't open at all even after uninstalling etc. I phoned the helpline and got answered immediately, a new release of the app was available within a few hours. (possibly coincidence)
The in-app support is hit an miss.. sometimes it was immediate, sometimes it took a couple of hours for a reply, but I always got one eventually, although a bit abrupt in some cases.
I topped up a bit before we went to test and it all worked fine. Then added our holiday money and converted to Euros. It worked everywhere and we had no trouble in France with withdrawing or purchasing.
Now we're back I converted it back to GBP and are using up the remaining on shopping/petrol.
I converted between Euros and GBP a few times to see how much you lost each time and it only appeared to be a penny so maybe this is how they make their money?
I would definitely recommend this though, as it made our lives so much easier. I especially liked all the security features available in the app where you could disable the card from being used for various things and the way it pops up each time its used to tell you a transaction has taken place.. so you know exactly where you are (although not much help when offline abroad)0 -
okay, so i'm back from my trip to Europe and must say the card worked flawlessly for me: for online, offline and cash withdrawals.
glad i came across Revolut.0
