if i buy a local card - can i change the number of revolut account?
Edit: I suggest you try temporarily swapping SIMs, if you have a family member who can lend you their SIM for the experiment, to see if you can still log in to the app with the other SIM in the phone.0 -
Temporarily changing the SIM of your phone shouldn't stop you being able to log in to the Revolut app on that phone, so long as you didn't explicitly log out of the app when you last exited it. The app won't know you've changed the SIM, though I guess this might depend on the phone's OS. If you logged out and need to log in with your phone number and SMS code, then you'll need to be able to receive the SMS code at your UK phone number.
You can have the SIM with your Revolut registered phone number in a separate phone when receiving the 6-digit verification code to log in to the app.
Your registered phone number can be changed, within the app 'profile', or by calling CS if you are unable to log in (have the date and amount of your last top up ready to give, for verification).Evolution, not revolution0 -

Has anybody tried to contact Revolut support?
I was having a problem topping up for the first time and tried their in-app support chat. Over 30 minutes later, I am still getting no response.
I have also tried their phone number (rings out without any response).
I also sent an email and received a response saying that the support email was withdrawn and was for emergencies only and to use the chat feature - which is not getting any response!
Not impressed.
Has anybody had similar/better experiences?0 -
Just looked at their Facebook page - looks like I am not the only person having problems getting a response out of Revolut.
I am surprised that MSE are endorsing Revolut if their customer service is so poor.0 -

They shouldn't ignore the best value product on the market because of a one-off service issue.0 -
Unfortunately I don't think that it is just a "one-off service issue".
After trying, and failing, to contact them I checked their Facebook page - it is full of people complaining about the total lack of support. So I don't think that it is just me.
Also, reading back through some of the earlier posts in this thread, it seems that other MSE forum members have had similar issues.
I can accept that companies can have off-days or growing pains, but this appears to be potentially more serious.0 -
I should add that I really want Revolut to work. I would like to have the confidence to use the card, especially abroad, but have concerns about the difficulty in contacting them if I run into problems in using the card.0
