I can't top up my Revolut card. Many times I tried to top up my Revolut card. All attempts were useless.
There is detailed description. I fill all fields in the payment form with the number, date and cvv and fill the amount field €192.06. I am going to pay a purchase in a German online shop.
Next step in the security form I enter the security code that I receive by SMS. When I submit this code I receive the answer "Bad Request".
I called my bank about the problem. They said the reason of failed operation is their server haven't gotten an answer from the netbanx.com server.
My card for top up had BIN 525477. When I checked this BIN online I found the card looks as credit. But it is not so. It's a debit card. The problem I think is the Russian banks very often use credit BINs for all issued cards. May be incorrect BIN is the reason of the problem. I don't know real reason. It's a assumption only.
The current card is my main card for foreign travels, but it is in Russian local currency - rubles. I prefer to convert local currency to a more reliable one. The Revolut card is the best for it.
I requested the Revolut online support about the problem but have been advised to send email to support@revolute.com with the promise to get back to me ASAP. I sent the email. A week past but there is no any response. What should I do with the "Bad Request"? I don't know. The Revolut support doesn't hurry up to help me.0 -

To be fair it is likely because no one understands what on earth it is you are attempting to achieve..
In your very first line, you write about trying to Top up the Revolut account. But from there you go AWOL.
You don't appear to be referring to a topup at all.
You cannot use a Russian bank or whatever card to top up the account with Euros without being affected by the conversion charge from Roubles to Euros. So what is the purpose? Even if you topup with Roubles and then convert to Euros within the application, the Rouble is not supported.
If the case is that the card is being identified as a credit card, that won't work either.
So forget about it. Just use your card to pay the German online shop directly. Doesn't make sense that you are trying to topup in Euros with a card denominated in Roubles. At best your card will charge you for the conversion anyway. So best to use it to pay the German firm directly.
No one here can help you...including Revolut.0 -
Dear Resolut Official
I couldn't get as far as the passcode page but this is OK now, so not to worry.
My problem now is over verification. I couldn't verify my identity using the App and so sent an email with the relevant photos but the card is still shown as unverified and I can't get any response from support.
I take it that I can't see my pin until verification is done.
One further question, I want to use the card for ATM withdrawals in China, Vietnam and Cambodia. will this be OK?
Verification is not necessary for you to be able to view your PIN. Verification is only necessary if you are likely to topup more than £1000 per annum.
As to your further question...no issues.0 -
Revolut Official - can you please advise the best way for a colleague to go.
He is currently UK based with UK bank accounts but in a couple of months time is going to be relocating abroad to Holland for a few years.
If he sets up an account using his UK details to be up and running, would it be easy to change things later to show his Dutch details and new Dutch bank when he is established there - or would he need to reapply and get a new card and account with its home set as Holland?
Hi Kaydee,
You're colleague will not need to make another account, we can change this for him. He will just need to contact us via the in-app chat or support@revolut.comI requested the Revolut online support about the problem but have been advised to send email to support@revolute.com with the promise to get back to me ASAP. Hi gryff,
Could you please make sure you sent the e-mail to support@revolut.com. Alternatively, it is very hard to look up your account from MSE. Could you please talk to us in the in-app support, or (if you don't mind) tell us the subject of the email so we can search for it.“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Revolut. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. Hi,
We have two Revolut cards in Las Vegas.
First one: PIN denied. Claims to be reset and failed again. May have been user's error.
Second one: been withdrawing and transferring well. Then stopped working. After contacting Support, they say it was locked due to an ATM request. Despite sending numerous documents, the card remains locked and now getting penalised on bank cards as without funds locked in Revolut. No response from Support in 24 hours plus.
I would not advise using Revolut in Las Vegas.0 -

I'll throw in my experiences having used Revolut in Vegas last month. Had no issues whatsoever, worked fine - topped up then used at an ATM about five minutes later to obtain cash.
However, I tried to use it again in the UK - the top up was fine, but cash withdrawals wouldn't work, all saying insufficient funds. I tried various amounts, having initially thought it was because I was trying to withdraw a large sum (seemed like, and eventually was, a good way of withdrawing more than your daily current account ATM limit in one hit). This continued, having first contacted support and got no response, followed by a second contact where they then advised me it was blocked.
This was sorted out by emailing them a statement proving I owned the card being used to top up, which is fine, but no notification of anything being amiss, and being ignored the first time, is a pretty poor show.
This experience made me a bit more hasty in using it in Germany recently, stuck to Travelex Supercard as the main, keeping Revolut for a backup.0 -
Hi Revolut Official,
I'm planning to go to China from the 1st of October and I was wondering if there is a still a delay in delivery of the card? I'd need to have received it by next week0 -
I have been very happy with my Revolut card, it has been very helpful, and does exactly as it says. I have used it for buying online, in shops, as well as withdrawing cash from a machine in the US.
But I referred two friends about a month ago who have both signed up and deposited money, but I did not get the 5pounds referral reward which I was disappointed by.0 -

Bad Request means: The server cannot or will not process the request due to something that is perceived to be a client error (e.g., malformed request syntax, invalid request message framing, or deceptive request routing).
This way Revolut needs to request netbanx.com system administrators about the problem. They can see what's wrong.
However as I see the support do nothing.0
