Feeling very low today. Mum has has another visit to hospital on Friday due to an Angina attack. But the problem is there is something going on with her memory. Before the shunt her memory was much better. Now if she asks you a question and you answer it she asks the same question 5 minutes later. The op was supposed to improve her walking, continence and brain function.
I have phoned the hospital and left a message for someone to call me back. It may be just what would have happened but it seems odd that instead of her brain function improving its going backwards.
Makes me want to cry as I did not want her to have it and she has felt sick every since ( due to the tube I think ) and is not well. She also does want us to leave when we go in to see her0 -

The seller knows they'll have to go to the post office and that should be taken into account in the listing price, just as your items were. I've no intention of returning it or leaving negative feedback at all. I'm far too nice to do that
Not happy with the total cost, dont buy it.
You got a bargain, be happy.

I live three mile from a post office, if you think I'm getting the car out and spending half an hour for free, then think again.
I sold an item BIN price £150 no problem, I sold an identical item for £144 plus six pounds p&p, same cost, same profit. Which is "fairer" ?
In truth both items should have been £137 plus £13 p&p as that is the true reflection of my costs.
All three scenarios are the same, £150 paid, costs covered £20 profit.
If I was the seller I would offer a full refund (with the buyer paying return postage), then bar the buyer.
I didnt say time costs were free, I said they should be built into the selling price. I can also count pretty well thank you so don't need any lessons in a plus b =.
My point was rules and clarity of pricing.:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -
Ref the Ebay situation.
As consumers we all like to see transparency when purchasing goods. The OFT are also inclined to think in the same manner, just as Martin Lewis and MSE advocates.
This is why numerous new laws have come into effect in recent years ie. hidden credit/debit card charges + others.
The Seller should be 100% upfront about how the costs are distributed and reflected in the purchase price. Headline prices are a way of disguising actual costs and don't benefit anyone and don't bring about confidence from the consumer. What we all want to see are 'actual' costs.
If I were QOC I would leave either negative or neutral feedback citing the false postal cost. If others did the same It may induce the seller to be more upfront. You shouldn't sit back and say nothing and be all 'British' about it.....that's why we're light years behind when it comes to good customer service.0 -

I agree with you...however if you are encouraged to leave feedback as a buyer and a seller then your experience should be reflected in the feedback...
I have no problem when buying commenting on high or indeed low postage costs or whether an item has been well packed etc etc...I often leave feed back which comments on the packaging of the item as I think other buyers might want to know that they can expect their items dispatched on time or well packaged.
In this situation I would have no problem leaving positive feedback for the item as I acknowledge that it was a good item but I would also comment on the high postage cost.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

If you wanted to know a full breakdown of my £150 item, here it is.

Packaging 30p
Ebay fees £15
Paypal fees £5.31
