Good morning elite
Just wanted to report that I lost a £30 apg yesterday. My interpretation is that you can no longer hold apps to claim from the previous month.
The order was from 26th June. I looked at when I first claimed apgs in June and I started on the 10th. Knowing I was at my June limit and seeing others report on here I purposefully waited to redeem this one - but I only got 30p as that took me to my June limit.
I then proceeded to claim my voucher for my first shop in July (from the 3rd) and got the message that my £20 apg would be put on my account.
Hope this information helps everyone.0 -

It does have breakfast, wi fi and parking though.
Is that for 2 nights? So £90 a night?
You could try airbnb? I suspect August weekends are peak time and the good places get booked early.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Good morning all...
Lovely to see a few regulars back ...welcome home EMMAP....
I was only thinking of strewth last week, good to know she's still around even if life is a little hectic and at times demanding.
My tassimo oder has finally been delivered this morning...I've never known one actually taking 10 working days but I was getting to the point of thinking about chasing when Andy from DPD delivered it at 7.05am!
RL looks like it might try to get in the way this week...it seems everyone and everything needs a timeslot at the moment ...but I guess thats how things are occasionally...I seem to have 3 big imminent worries at the moment and I'm not sure which one to concentrate on without letting the others slide.
Looks like weather set miserable and muggy so I hope eveyone makes the best of it and enjoys their day...frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

Yes in theory it is cheap for August but then we also have to figure in £35 a night for the cattery plus maybe £40 or £50 for dinner -
I think I would be happier with a nice holiday flat - then if you are knackered after a day out you can just get salad things for dinner - relaxed and I formal
OH has also said we have to be very nice to eldest child - if we fall out with her then we are doomed - both sons will be out if the country by then so she will be the only child left in the village
Also she is so stressed at work we have to be very gentle with her or she will explode“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Morning all :hello:
To toblerone or not  It could be my lunchwith a packet of crisps ofc.

The bag I won on eBay arrived this morning
I paid £6 for postage but the post office label says that the seller paid only £2.80... Am I within my rights to request a refund of the excess?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. No but you could email the seller and ask for a partial refund. But most ebayers factor in packaging aswell.0 -

What value do you put on the packaging materials?
The sellers time to pack and post your item ?
What about the ebay fees levelled on the postage - 10% ?
Petrol and running costs for a car maybe ?
And their ebay fees?
Was the fee clearly stated when you agreed the transaction?
You do know that when you buy anything from anywhere (almost) you pay more than cost price?0 -

Never in a million years was the packaging that much. I'll probably ask for a partial refund - I don't mind paying a little over the odds but more than double is excessive IMO. I've automatically given a refund in the past when it's happened to me.
But on the other hand, it's a lovely bag, which even with the insane postage, is still a massive bargainI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
