Can anyone better this plan? We are doing some decorating and some of the things we need are only available from Homebase. So:

Go to Tesco (womble on way in and on way out)
Buy Homebase giftvouchers in multiples of £50 - this will gain bonus club card points and also some of those fuel points they are doing away with soon
Pay with Amex - this will give bonus points for supermarket spend in first year of membership
Go to Homebase and use gift cards to buy decorating stuff - this will give Nectar points. Also use till spits for extra Nectar points relating to specific purchases.

I know I could wait until Homebase have a 15% off sale, but the work really needs to be done now.

    Morning all :)

I wasn't particularly until a couple of years ago, when I had the huge good fortune of winning a competition run by Courvoisier which included amongst other fabulous things, a stay at their chateau in Jarnac. We learned a vast amount about the products, toured the vineyards, the barrel making facility, the bottling plant and just about everything else in between. Our room at the chateau was an incredible example of faded splendour and included a flask of cognac on the mantelpiece, topped up whenever we drank any. The highlight was being taken down into the chateau's cellar, affectionately known as Paradise, where we sampled a glass of L'Essence de Courvoisier, guided by the master blender. I've been a little bit in love with it ever since :heart2:

    What a great post hg....thank you:A

    Good morning.

A bit overcast and wet here today.

Just a gentle bump for my sister, who is taking part in Race for Life today. Any donations would be much appreciated
