Thanks, yeah, i wrote to them already and took it as far as I could. Unfortunately they won't take it off as it was an accurate reflection of my credit at the time blah blah blah. EE took their inaccurate default off though which was helpful.
Yeah, I don't expect to get a shiny high street mortgage
hopefully can enlist a mortgage advisor who can get me the best deal available for my situation.
Fingers crossed!0 -
If you want to check with someone else Clearscore (Equifax IIRC) is also free so you could compare that to your Noddle "score".
Anyone who has a Barclaycard - you get a free Experian report with that (updated every 2 months)0 -
My credit history is so bad I have a minus figure next to mine...lol0

Hi, this is an old thread but thought would tag onto it and hopefully get an answer. (googled it you see - doing some research before I post)
I have used NODDLE just now and my score is 541, I got a little excited because on the other equi an callcredit i am 371 or something.
But on the slider board it rates me as 'poor' performance.
A CCJ should have come off in Feb which I obtained whilst running my business 6 years ago. Also no other alarms showing on my report.
I know a lot of people said on here 'they are meaningless' but far from it, because of my report I had to fork out 6 months rent up front on a new house, so far from actually being meaningless.
What I want to know now is why could my report be so low, if no CCJ... To be fair though at the end of my business I had a DRO so that could be a reason?
I have car insurance and phone bills going out in my name, will these make any difference whatsoever?0 -

You didn't fork out 6 months rent because of any fictional score that no one saw.
You had to fork out 6 months rent because of the DATA they saw on your credit file.
DRO are generally not seen as a positive credit indicator.0
