Older not wiser? I didn't think she was about any more.
I believe she had an AE (Dunroamin) but i *think* it got PPR'd....

I actually didn't mind when she was ONW, she was blunt and to the point but you could discuss things with her, the second incarnation i may have had a run in with. I have no idea if she has another AE now.

All this aside none of this is really helping the OP. Sorry OP!

I knew about dunroamin because she wrote a post about not being able to access her ONW account but another AE? I can't keep up lol

Whodathunkit after Dunroamin and now MissBiggles. There might have been another that didn't last long.

Tbh i don't really keep track!

There are some posters who have obvious AE's (andyandflo for example) but the only reason they stay in my mind is cos i find them annoying, it frustrating for the benfts board having a troll who posts such things and interferes with people getting help.

Anyone else im not fussed about.

Nobody said "just adopt", which I agree would be an incredibly stupid and heartless thing to say. The only posters who've used the words "just adopt" are the ones complaining about it.

"Have you considered adoption?" is nothing like telling someone to "just adopt". It was asked with the kindest of intentions and didn't deserve to be met with that barrage of outrage.

Absolutely. Was going to say the same myself.

    Make 2 lists:

    1. Good reason to have a child - I can think of about 3 (sketchy at best)
    2. Good reasons NOT to have a child - I stopped counting after about 200 but could add to the list every day.

So if you're list ends up like mine...then thank you're lucky stars, or if you're list is the reverse of mine, please share.

What a really sick and inappropriate thing to drag into a discussion about someone wanting a baby - why would you do something like that?

Hey, I was just saying there are more inexcusable things happening in our world than someone disagreeing with you. Judging by your posts to myself and other people you are very good at trying to paint others as the villain, but this thread isn't about you.

OP, how are you feeling about everything now?

I really don't think it's as simple as that. I think if anyone made a list of the pros and cons the negatives would outweigh the positives unless they were really trying to throw the result.

I don't want children myself but wanting one seems like such a primal thing. If you want one it takes over your life and thought processes to the point nothing else really matters. It's the only way I can explain the pain and hardship some people put themselves through to have a child.

If it was a business deal no one would have children.
