  • Helloo,

Wow Mrs MP glad MIL is ok, but really, closed curtains must have given you a real fright.
Kaz, glad AGS is ok, where are they living?

Done some bits of list this afternoon but nothing in the hall as kids have built a big den out of cardboard and I have been ordered to never ever move it. Will post updated list later x

Evening all. Sorry I have been MIA for so long! I think it was the longest I have been away from this thread since I joined!

I have had a quick skim over the news so hugs for one that need them especially CY. My thoughts are with you.

Well we moved in nearly three weeks ago! It was a hectic move and when we moved in the place was filthy from being empty for almost a year. Visible muck on the doors and grey carpets! Yuk!

So we have had to clean a room including the carpets before moving any stuff in! Most stuff is now in the right rooms and most rooms are cleaned. Kitchens and bathrooms are a priority as I just did the essentials. The house is a lot bigger than the last one so is taking some getting used too!

We also had a serious furniture shortage so a socabed, tv unit and garden furniture have all been chosen, bought and put together! We also don't have a working dw so everything is being done by hand!:(

Dad is also back in hospital ad he gave a fall and fractured his hip. That was over three weeks ago now!

We also had some shocking news just before we moved. I can't go Into it yet but will as soon as I can. But it has certainly knocked me for six! Anyway, that's me! I aim to be a regular again from tomorrow with seriously adapted lists!

Kazw hope AGS is ok; kinda knocks Mr LW's horsefly bite into a cocked hat!

Ronnie-Bonnie-Boy (as I call him) is here, he settled in right away, and has eaten a meal without being prompted! This is a major achievement.:T

Morning everyone. Thanks Dusty and Lynne. When there are difficult things to deal with OH sticks his head in the sand for as long as possible whereas I want to charge in and tackle things head on. No criticism of him I guess, that's just the way he is, but it does get frustrating. We had a chat last night but I am not convinced much will change.

So, paid stuff this morning, appointment with DSs support worker this aft. Study is a mess as always so will attempt to do something in there. Must look at July budget - and still no windows cleaned!

    Have a good Wednesday everyone.

So many needing posi vibes hugs and recovery/get well wishes. Sticks and spoons as well for any takers.
Lynne glad you are getting somewhere at last with your foot I hope that the recovery is complete once the excercises and next few months of appts are overcome.
Drizzly here, but bluing up to the west when I just waved DS1 off so hopefully brighten up soon
DS2 had a great day at Alton yesterday, DH had his dentist appt - he's cracked the filling that was done so needs to go back and have it done again.
Mil got told by DH last night that she needs to be a bit more thoughtful of other people and let her whereabouts be known. I thought it better to come from him as I've been getting the poor me everyone picks on me and waterworks recently so didn't want to upset her or me again.
Not in work till mid morning so plan to get as much as poss done before then.

    Have a good morning all

    Morning everyone.

No plans today till later so should manage to get quite a bit done. DGS2 was coming to paint outside but we have rain today. DD coming for lunch. When asked what she wanted the answer was surprise me. Hmmm.

After months with no street lights at the back the council are now working on it.

Big warm hugs for all who need them.

lynnejk Thanks for the info about baking soda. I'm past that stage now. Taking paracetamol for the pain when needed.
