    Morning all
Raining and miserable here. So not the be a day to be waving Ds2 off on his school trip to Alton towers. Also had 'my class teacher' pop round with some goodies to go in the fridge, we were hoping to take them for a picnic on the park next to my house this afty, so rain stopping vibes here.

Dancemum, what a lovely friend you have, glad things are getting sorted re the car and I hope you have the insurance money back soon and your new car with you.

CY, I agree with what bossy said, I found lots that was said to mil very confusing, we got given an oncology nurses phone number and she sat in on a couple of the appts with us, so she knew what was being said then told us it in plain understandable English once the Dr had gone. I've rung her a few times for advice etc. sending hugs and support your way.
Hugs good wishes posi vibes sticks and spoons to all who need/want them.

So far today I've cleared the floordrobe, decluttered some stuff from the bathroom shelves, sorted the ironing ready to do, paired socks and folded undies, ironed at shirt for Ds2 as he NEEDED it for the trip, signed his work experience paperwork and booked a taxi for the orthodontist. Last night while I was doing pack ups the fridge had a major tidy out and work surfaces decluttered.
Today seems manageable first job I want to get out of the way is the ironing while I've still got the board set up as there's not much of it.

    Hi all x

I've been caravan flying today as OH, DS1 and DS2 now need it to work at titp so it's now emptied ready for their stuff to go in. Nothing done in the house but I will catch up tomorrow. Off to get ready for the paid stuff, first shift back I can see it far enough!

CY Don't know what to suggest other than what bossy has said. I found when my aunt was going through her treatment for breast cancer the less I knew the better. I just got stressed the more I knew.

    Afternoon!

Dusted the lounge earlier and removed some gibble. Haven't hoovered as dd2 has playbills set up and I didn't want to invade the farmyard and pet clinic with the hoover of death! Lol.

Also put old school pics in an album and replaced one in a frame.

Dd1 had a great time at her next schools induction day. Her fave bit apparently was buying popcorn from the healthy snack trolley. Hmm..

Dinner on. Quiche, jackets n corn on cobb for tea. Will need to zip to shop tomorrow as we seem to be running low on fruit. I only stocked up on Saturday. Hmm I might try to leave it until weekend so they eat the stuff they aren't so keen on! Lol.

Ironing done, while watching the tennis, 2 birds one stone and all that!!
Washing off line and folded away

Just found out the adpotedGS has had malaria, they didn't want to tell me, as they thought I would be back on the 1st plane available, too right I would have been, he is now out of hospital, after nearly a week in, but has to go each day to be checked...................so he is on the mend thank goodness.......

I only found out, as I rang the house out there early this morning about some thing, and AGS answered the phone, so I asked why he was not at school, so he tell me what had happened, in fairly graphic detail for a 10 year old!!

    Off to cook dinner

Kaz glad he's alright now, must still have been a shock to get that news,

Mil has taken 5 years off my life! I got a called into the office at work to say someone wanted me on the phone, it was the wife of the guy who gives mil and her friend a lift to oap bowling, all her curtains were still shut and he was banging on the door but couldn't get anyone to hear him, so he was taking just her friend. I got permission and rushed round there, no sign of her at all, but her walking frame was gone so I guessed she'd gone out, (after checking the garden incase shed fallen) left a note asking her to ring me as we were worried. Got back to work and guy had rung to say she had made her own way to bowls after going Drs. Begs the question why she hadn't told me she'd got an appt and why hadn't she told the person who gives her a lift she'd go her own way. Once the relief she was ok wore off I admit I got a bit annoyed that she'd given us all such a scare.
Just got back in from work as I've been chatting to a teacher after my shift.
So going to make a start on food now.

Hope all are as well as can be.
