    Hi all x

I've been busy today trying to catch up with the holiday washing but it's been overcast with showers here today so I couldn't get that much done. Scullery cleaned, LR hoovered, dusted and generally tidied up. OH hung my new picture. I so love it, a beautiful night scene of Glasgow. Back to work for me tomorrow night I so wish I had the same holidays as the schools but as the chorus of I'm bored has started here already maybe I don't!

I've updated my list. I will clean the fridge tomorrow before it gets filled on Wednesday.

Basics only due to stress levels being off the scale.

Fantastic friend saved the day. She took us to a car showroom and we have arranged for a car to be brought nearer for us to buy. She also asked them for a curtesy car and they gave us one. Just had an email from the insurance they have released the payment and it should be cleared in 3-5 days.

We had lunch in mr T's cafe and drove home.

Think will chill out with breaking bad and my knitting this evening.

We loved Breaking Bad - where are you up to? As for knitting, I find that so relaxing and am really into it - what are you knitting?

Kitchen still all clean as I washed/cleaned up after tea. J, true to form, forgot to pick S up from school this evening whilst I had my scan so as I left I checked my phone, saw it was school and guessed the rest. Luckily big sis Z was able to get him for me.

Going to try to vacuum around the lounge, hall stairs and landing tomorrow before going up to sports day. My parents are up til Thursday pm as from tomorrow lunchtime so not going to be able to get a whole lot done whilst they're here.

Going to chill with J now and do some knitting; making a summer top and would love to get it done before we go on holiday!

Evening all. Hospital appointment this morning. Told me that if chemo reduces the lymph nodes it will be good, but they may not consider it curative.

But if the nodes don't shrink (they are not very big, apparently) they might give them the benefit of the doubt.

A bit confused here - do they think my nodes may not be cancerous?

Any all being well chemo starts next week.

BUT I now have a temperature......

And to add to my woes I explained some of the above to my mum. Who pointed out that chemo could help my weight loss.

But on a positive note DD2 had a 4 figure tax rebate....

    Hi,

Only a little done today as didn't get home from work until 6:40pm, made tea, children to bed, just going to take doggy out for a quick walk (in the rain by the sound of it) and that will be it!

Dancemum your friend does sound fantastic. Glad you are getting it sorted.

Cy it sounds confusing, I would see if you can speak to someone again to clarify. Not sure your mum's comment really helps!

If it's gone I've done it!

cy one of our friends is waiting for hospital treatment and getting lots of conflicting info from the docs, it's not good and its making her more worried. I know myself when I take Ds it's hard to take it all in sometimes.

Very tired tonight. Just finished kitchen floor and going to tuck myself up in bed soon with my book. This week is going to be a busy one.

Fingers crossed for you dawn r
