External 250GB hard drive £23.86 from Dell

The final response will be something along the lines of - "Our suppliers (Omega), have no more stock of the drives at the price advertised on our (Dell) website."
I've had this done to me before by Amazon when buying a cheap (misprice) DVD boxset.
Still, Dell have taken payment from my debit card.0 -
I also have an order confirmation and attached T&C which state:
Dell accepts Customer’s offer to purchase under this Agreement & makes a binding Agreement by issuing an Order Confirmation. Order confirmation is binding except, in the case of consumers only, where there is a discrepancy between order confirmation and what consumer ordered and where discrepancy is unacceptable to the consumer. It is recommended that Customer review the Order Confirmation & notify Dell within a reasonable period of time of any discrepancies that are noticed.
Having not read the remainder of this yet, it seems that they need to send me the stuff....
(sorry if this is a duplicate of what others have said).0 -

I also received those, along with a PDF of my order confirmation/invoice which also states at the bottom...Please note - your order is subject to our Terms and Conditions of sale and service. Dell will not be responsible for typographical, pricing or other errors and reserves the right to cancel any orders based on such errors. Ensure you inspect all components of your product after delivery as Dell are unable to accomodate any claim after 30 days from date of invoice.
To be honest, I just wish they'd hurry and advise one way or another - so I can at least start looking elsewhere for the storage I need.0 -
I belevie the following and think Dell already decided.mriceman1974 wrote: »Spoke to Dell this morning and they have said there has been a technical fault and I won't be receiving the item for 23.00 but she would put me through to Sales where I could order it at the new price of around £100.
I declined.0 -

£23.86 has gone from my account to Dell! Looks like they are honouring it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
