  • just received an email from dell asking if i will return some of my order so they can supply everyone else .
emailed them straight back telling them they've got the same chance as anyone else bidding for them on ebay

I'm not sure why everyone thinks these are mis-prices. Hard drives are getting cheaper and cheaper. If you can pick up a 500GB one for just over £60 why not a 250GB one for £25.
These things will be 2 a penny in a few years just like DVD players.

Silly you - they might think you're being pretty unhelpful. You should have told them that you're only free between 11pm & ten past on days with six letters in the name & in months with between 5 and 7 letters. E-mail them again, this time telling them your schedule and that if they want them returned they'll have to collect them taking into account your time constraints. They should understand, especially if you tell them that you're scheduled to watch the cow jumping over the moon at 11.15pm & she won't wait, so you need time to make yourself a drink & a sandwich before you position yourself at the window. :D
