Cheap calls though 18185 - experiences please?

Tried making a couple of calls just now -one just went dead, the second gave no "0.5p per minute" message then went to engaged tone.
Anyone tried it this morning ??

Calls now going thru -but no message , so appears as if the calls are routing direct ???

So does Fuel Broadband (formally Primus) allow PCS providers like 18185 and 1899?
I have a "phone only" package with Fuel, carried over from the Primus days, so get line rental, and free evening and weekend calls for £7 per month. I just tried calling 18185 and didn't get any message or instructions as to when to enter the number I want to call.
Any help would be appreciated.

No they dont allow Indirect Access via short codes see post 13 here.

You can use indirect access via the 0808 freephone number.

Anyone having problems with 18185? I dial the 0808 1 703 703 number and there is no message about dialling the follow on number followed by #. If I dial the number anyway no connection is made. The phone works OK on the actual SKY line so it just seems to be the 18185 network that is down

18185 have increased their UK call rate to 0.7p per minute with a 5p connection charge from today.

Yes you can but you can't dial 18185 you need to dial 0808 1 703 703 instead and if that doesn't work you need to dial 020 81 80 2828

The call charges are higher though so be careful.

Sky Talk have blocked access to all Indirect Access Codes like 18185/1899/18866 etc etc for some considerable time now.

You can use Freephone Access numbers if supplied but they are usually more dearer as pointed out above.

If you havent got inclusive minutes, using 01/02/03 access numbers will prove expensive.

Since 18185 abolished the talk as long as you like for 5p to 01/02/03 numbers and upped prices. Cost of calls via 18185 and Freephone drawer closer. Both 5p connection then 0.7p via 18185 or 1.0p via Freephone.
