New car last month and a screw this week in the side wall, near the rim, how can that happen please.

Cant repair near the rim so nearly £70 for a new tyre.....

It could be chance but the cynic in me reckons someone who hasn't done well for themselves through poor life decisions is simply envious of your new car.

Sadly this sort of behaviour is far too common as it has happened to a couple of people I know this year:

Could be one of your sacked/accused of stealing cleaners looking for revenge

Perhaps you need to concentrate on other things like finding a life for yourself.

    What's your problem
I was offering a possibility, you did upset your cleaner/s so it is possible they are getting revenge

or maybe you have upset others as well

Maybe you are driving over lots of nails..unlikely

Maybe you are just unlucky also unlikely

which is the most likely scenario

35 years driving never had a nail in tyre . Suggest that your "Foul Play" thoughts are correct imho .

Oh come off it! How on earth would you know?

Many a time I've had my tyres replaced as they were worn and the fitters subsequently found nails in the tyre but they had not punctured, or the deflation was so low that I had not noticed when periodically pumping them up per weekly maintenance.

If your post was a genuine attempt to be helful then I apologise.

If you're just trolling through my previous threads in an attempt to amuse yourself by trying to be funny/clever then I don't apologise.

Of course, only you know the truth...

Pick up my first nail in October. Been driving for over 20 years, so I can't complain too much I guess, still, not where it could be repaired and 6mm left on that tyre dammit.
There was a small 4-houses building site across the road, so I'll blame it on them as they weren't particularly good at sweeping their cr*p off the road.

It was embedded so well in there that there was hardly any loss of pressure :rotfl:
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail
