Is it just me or Easyjet is no longer offering better prices on Tuesdays?

They never were. It's just another airtravel myth, like "clearing your cookies will lower the prices" and "wear a suit and you'll stand a better chance of an upgrade".
  • I recommend Easyjet's new 'Hands-free' hand luggage facility. You pay £4 and your hand luggage is taken from you before security, avoiding hassle with liquids. Seemingly, you can still take up to the normal-sized hand luggage through with you anyway! You also get Speedy Boarding thrown in, and priority baggage reclaim - in theory.

Very innovative service from easyjet and well priced for the convenience to be able to take larger liquid items etc.

Just to be clear though they don't provide speedy boarder with this but put you next in line after the speedy boarders...
  • I actually tried this for next year's February midterm and found it didn't work so has worked out quite expensive! Have Easyjet now closed this loophole?
  • Hi all,

Followed Martin's advice on TV last night. Booked flights to Funchal this morning for my usual trip in September. Prices were going up minute by minute as more and more people were viewing/booking, so this really is active and demand led. Won't really know how much I saved compared to leaving it until much nearer departure as I normally would, but I was happy with what I paid. Thank you. Paul.
  • I am totally confused. Easyjet states this as part of the T&C's on their website regarding flexifares -
    Free route changes
Unless the new fare is higher, then the relevant difference applies.

So this would mean that any savings made in booking flexifare and changing the date after 24 hours would be void.
Is this something new that Easyjet has introduced recently to curb the savings plans? Or is this a guideline that is hardly ever followed?
I have never used the flexifare trick - but was looking into it.
I was on the Easyjet website at 5:30 this morning as they released the tickets for late summer 2018, and prices were insane. And this is the 2nd week of September. Not even school holidays. Perhaps their poor financial results had something to do with it?

There's a difference between a route change and a date change on your originally booked route, which involves no added cost for easyJet Flexi bookings (within the window allowed).
    Evolution, not revolution
  • I am trying to book return tickets from Luton to Pisa in July for 4 adults. I have noticed though that when I look at the cost of a ticket for 1 person it is £147.90 but when I increase the number of adults to 4 the cost of each ticket rises to £160. I was expecting the cost to go down as it says on the website that the £15 administration fee is split between the passengers. Can anyone explain this? The waiting time to chat to someone at Easyjet is 45 minutes.

Is 2 people each on separate bookings cheaper?
Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.
  • Yes - for 2 people the price is £155 each
