I was on the phone at 9am on the 29th and all the cheap fares had gone to those that had pre-registered. I managed to get 10% off by booking as a group, adults £71 and children £52.50.

It does seem to be getting more difficult, especially if you're travelling anywhere near the UK school holidays, to get the cheapest direct fare. Yours was a good price though :).

Thanks. Going to look into driving too as logistics using Eurostar are horrendous.

  • Hi y'all!

Looking for some advice and you guys seem to have all the answers!

I want to take my boyf away for few days to DLP as a break after completing his PhD (my thoughts were pure escapist joy, big rides and lots of sugar!)

Unfortunately it will have to be during October half term because he teaches during term time. He is a huuuge fan of Hallowe’en so thought it would be cool to be there during that week too.

    So these are my questions:

What should I expect to pay for two days/two nights? I would preferably like to stay in a DPH but I don’t know what’s a rip off and what’s reasonable.

Also is it cheaper to book a package or book hotel and tickets separately? The early magic hours appeal as I know it will be busy but as most of the hotels are set-up for families and we don’t need another double bed or bunk beds, the prices seem steep for just the two of us.

Is it going to be unbearably busy over Hallowe’en? As we’re two adults there’s not going to much crying in the queues but at the same time I don’t want to spend all this money to only go on 5 rides a day (as I saw previously mentioned on the thread!)

Sorry that’s a lot of questions – it does seem like I’m asking you to book my holiday for me but I’m not honestly! If someone can just give me some ballparks to these questions, I will go and do the rest of the legwork and report back!

    Thank you!

yes its going to be mentally busy over Halloween itself I'm afraid. Its the busiest week at DLP, except for some of high summer season.

    Hi Everyone!!

Just started looking into taking our 3 year old daughter to eurodisney for a little treat and to soften the blow of an impending brother or sister arriving early next year!(she doesn't know about this yet).
There is so much information on here i do not know where to start!
We are looking at going in December for 3 nights/4 days 16 -19 Dec 13.
Possibly by Eurostar as we are about 50mins from London by train, although i haven't checked flights yet so thats still a possibility.

    Couple of quick questions :)
Is it better to book everything through the DLP Website or is there better sites to use?
They also have a '30 days' offer on at the min, is this the best time to book for December or should i hang on for a bit?

Any advice at this early stage would be most appreciative :)

if you're thinking about the Eurostar, I'd book it now, as those fares will only get more expensive the longer you leave it.

book Eurostar yourself directly with Eurostar, then check the DLP site for hotel/park ticket and breakfast packages. If the current deal doesn't give you at least 30% off for your dates, wait and see what the next offer might hold.

I've been given a price of £1076 for 4n/5d at DCR for 2adults and 3 kids for 17th August 2014, is this a good price? do you think it can be beaten/would I be better buying tickets/accom seperately? Also, will I have to pay parking at the Disney park?

I have been pricing other hotels, but most don't actually accomodate families of 5 so I welcome suggestions for appropriate accomodation close to Disney.

    Thanks in advance

I can't tell you if it's a good price or not as we have never been to DCR in the summer. Sounds OK for August though. Is it for a Premium/ Premium Plus cabin? If it's for a 2-bed cabin (not a Premium type) you may be disappointed as they are somewhat old and tired now.

As for parking charges, if you buy a package (accommodation and tickets) your parking will be free in the main car park with your 'Easy Pass' which you will receive upon check in. Otherwise I think it's 20 Euros.

does that price have either 40% off or 2 nights free? If so, its unlikely to be beat for an onsite hotel - but for that kind of money I'd be looking at booking an apartment nearby and buying annual passes for park tickets (these give you Extra magic hours and free car parking in the main Disney car park).
