Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

When I phoned reception about the internet (had already tried various things at this point) they were saying put in your number. Tried booking ref, cabin number along with various others to no avail. Also used the tv but there was no user name, just a blank space where it should have been. Maybe ours was just totally kaput then! Chose not to persevere. Would have been useful though as the TV there isn't up to much. Can't help but wonder why they don't put any instructions inside the welcome pack though!
Totally agree with being away from the madness and putting your feet up after a long day.
We are looking forward to another visit there later this month!"Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it": Ferris Bueller

I think you might have to wait a little to see if they extend that cheap ticket price to your October dates. What price were you seeing?0 -
Just thought I'd pop back in here to say a huge "Thank you Balletshoes!"
Thanks to all of your help we had a fantastic week in Disneyland, with everything running smoothly (except our niece's annual pass, we forgot to take the parental permission proof, but after a few phone calls and emails everything was sorted).
Just one question - What's the best time of year to go back for it being quiet?
Glad you had a great time and want to go back - its addictive I tell ya.
Do you have to go in school holidays?0 -
Travelling to Disney on 9th feb, week before English school holidays. I've read it's necessary to reserve seats for breakfast on site, etc... Is this the case all year round? Also can anyone tell me the most reliable way to get from Disneyland to CDG airport? There will be 2ad and 2ch. Is a taxi viable?
yes, its normal practice at all the onsite hotels except the Disneyland Hotel. When you check in, you will be given timeslots for every morning of your stay, to have breakfast at your hotel restaurant. You don't have to adhere to the timeslot though, if you find your hotel isn't busy you should be fine going whenever you like and not having to queue too long at the entrance.
Most convenient, quickest, and can be cheapest, way of transferring from CDG to your DLP hotel is by shared or private shuttle booked in advance - try rstransports, ezyshuttle.com, tioshuttle, or interprestige (they all have websites where you can get a quote).
On the way back to CDG on your last day, the quickest way (but may not be the cheapest) will be the TGV high speed train (you can get an idea of times and prices for your journey on the raileurope or sncf sites, although your actual dates won't be for sale until around 3 months prior to travel).0 -
Hi folks, I just wondered if anyone could give me an idea about whether or not those is a good deal? I've been quoted £812 for a 4 night/3 day stay at the Cheyenne hotel, that's for 2 adult and 2 children in August next year. The price includes park tickets. I'm not sure if it's going to be a whole lot cheaper getting a hotel nearby and park tickets separately. As we need to go in school holdays it's never going to be cheap! Just wondered if it would be better to stay in the Disney hotel for that price? Cheers!
How old are the children? It could be cheaper depending on their ages, if you get a good annual pass deal for park tickets. I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to get 3 nights in a partner hotel or nearby hotel/apartment for less than £500.
Does it need to be summer holidays? You have April and May holidays next year, a lot of which don't clash with French school holidays, so wouldn't be mega busy and would be cheaper than August.0 -
Hi guys, anyone help with a transport question please?
We're off to DLP in October, Eurostar looks expensive as I didn't realise they release train tickets on the phone before the website so by the time I did they were quite dear.
Would anyone know how much it costs to get the direct train to DLP from CDG airport?
Or the price from Paris? Thinking of going to Paris then onto DLP
Were 2x adults and a 9 year old.
We're staying at the Sequia lodge for 4 nights, I've just booked me in as we have annual pass s already and will add the others at check in.
Can I sell my Disney tickets? I will have 5 days adult pass s spare?
Thanks
have you looked at the indirect fare (via Lille) to DLP? If you have, and its still expensive, you can check seat 61 for the fare into and then out of Paris from CDG. I believe it takes well over an hour though, and involves at least 2 changes of train/metro etc. You can check the price of the high-speed TGV train between CDG and DLP, and book, on the raileurope or sncf sites. I often take a shared shuttle from CDG to DLP, then the TGV back on my last day. Check rstransports for shared shuttle quote.
often your included park-tickets have a very short duration (ie a week or 2 at the most from your check-in day) but you can sell them once you have them, if you have enough time to get them posted out to the buyer etc. Or you could try selling the ticket to someone already waiting in the ticket line at DLP one morning?0 -
Hi ballet shoes.
I've been reading this thread for a year and finally my turn to ask questions :-)
Looking at going in march 2014 as it will be quieter. 2 adults 2 children 3yr old and a 2yr old. It's coming in at £422 which I think is good but then add Eurostar and it comes to £800 odd. If I book Eurostar separately how much can I expect to pay? And when do the dates come on sale?
Also which hotel would you recommend, the cheyenne or Santa fe.
And lastly the weather? Obviously it's gonna be cold but do we need to kit our kids out in proper cold weather clothes ie ski coats etc?
Thanks in advance
If you haven't already, phone Eurostar now and book your seats - the fares went on sale for winter/spring next year on 29th August. Hopefully you'll still get the cheap seat price. I love the Santa Fe hotel, especially since its Cars refurb. I think the Cheyenne, although its outside theme is fantastic, is beginning to look like the rooms need refurbing. Who knows for the weather in March at DLP? We had a harsh winter this past year, going well into March, but previous years have been mild just-jumper weather.

I was on the phone at 9am on the 29th and all the cheap fares had gone to those that had pre-registered. I managed to get 10% off by booking as a group, adults £71 and children £52.50.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
