I have just bought 5 tickets from ticketnet.fr and printed the e-tickets at home. First question, these tickets have my full name and (UK) address printed on them, but they are marked as Francilien. Is this likely to cause any problems?

Secondly, we are a family of six, however my youngest is only two. I have bought five tickets at 45euros each for one park/one day on a specific date. Does my two year old need a ticket, even a zero value one? My wife is worried as other attractions have insisted we have a ticket even if the value is zero.

    Many thanks

Tell your wife there is nothing to worry about ~ your tickets are perfectly valid and your 2~year old doesnt need, and wont get, any kind of entry ticket or pass to go into the parks with you :)

As for the roofbox, whilst I was waiting for the family to return I took a cautious trip up to the height barrier at the Disney Village carpark, it states 2.1m on the sign and in my SMax with Thule roofbox just managed to squeeze under it with a half inch to spare. I didn't venture in any further today but I'm guessing that I'll be finding out in the morning how accurate they have been at measuring the clearances in the multistory parking!

Just a quick update on the Disney Village parking..

They are doing a promotion at the moment where if you have an annual pass you can park at the Disney Village multistory carpark for just 2 euros a day. Just get your ticket stamped by the guys in the parking office when you arrive/park and pay with a card at the barrier on the way out.

ps I did get in with a roofbox on (2.1m) but luckily didn't have to go to the higher levels as I managed to park on the ground floor (at about 8:45 am ish)

Thinking of organising a long weekend trip to DLP next spring for up to 10 adults, 5 3 year olds and 1 1 year old. Anybody got any ideas on the best way to do it? Would rather not be on a coach if that's any help.

Weekend date check-ins are usually the most expensive days of the week to check in at DLP and its nearby hotels. Also, Saturdays and Sundays, regardless of time of year, are way busier than midweek, due to local guests using their annual passes.

For up to 16 of you, your best bet would be to drive, and take the Eurotunnel or ferry.

Theres the Eurostar too, if you book early enough (ie in the next couple of weeks when the fares become available) you could get adult fares for £69 return, £49 return for the kids aged 4 or over.

Have a look on the official DLP site to see what hotels/prices are like for the dates you're looking at.

You also have the option of staying offsite and buying park tickets separately.

It really depends what you're after.

None of the children would be over 3. Eurostar would be my preference, plus a bonus if the children go free! Although we'd have to factor in travel to St Pancras from Cardiff too.

Want a basic but comfortable hotel, and as much easy access to the parks and village as possible. That's probably it. I can't imagine the 5 dads will want to lose 5 days leave to go, so weekend probably easier. I don't think it will matter too much if a couple of the days are busier as the kids will be able to entertain each other. :)
