Thanks Ballet Shoes, just need to persuade my OH that we need to go again in the next few months, instead of waiting till next year like we had planned - we have only been back a couple of weeks, but I need to go again already, we are having a day there next month whilst on Holiday, so that might tide me over for a bit !!!!!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Just finished a 3 week trip in the motorhome in France last week, kids aged 13, 11 and 10 and we did 3 days in Disney on the way home staying at Jablines campsite which was lovely.

The only ride we didnt get on was crushers coaster, it was closed the two mornings we went in that park first and when we saw it was open in the afternoon it had 50 minute queues, its quite a low capacity ride so the queue builds fast. i would say try and do that first.

Hi, We are looking to book a holiday to DLP sometime around the 14/15th July. We want to stay onsite and preferably travel by eurostar. What I would really appreciate is some guidance as to the best places to book.
We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children 15,14,3. I had a quick look on the DLP website and the price quoted there was just over £2,000 for 4 days which I thought was too expensive.
We haven't visited DLP for around 6 years and the dates in July are the only time we can go and so I appreciate it is going to be expensive.
Any tips or advice would be very much appreciated
    Thank you

    I like a challenge ;).
How does £1,265 total, including Eurostar, sound?
ie indirect Eurostar out on 15th July and back 19th July, total £340 for all of you (those seats are bookable now on the Eurostar website, so I'd book them first, as soon as you can, because they will only get more expensive).
Buy Fantasy Annual passes from cemultiavantages.com - you will pay 125 euros per pass, and your 4-year old will get one for only 35 euros.
for accommodation, forget the onsite hotels, as a family of 5 those are ridiculously expensive. Instead go for the Adagio apartments or Residhome apartments in val d'europe (have a look on travelrepublic) - they are around £440 for your 4 nights, total.
Both these apartments are close to the train station at val d'europe, which is one stop and less than 5 minutes journey to the DLP parks. The trains come and go every 5-10 minutes all day every day until after midnight.

Thank you, that is great, really really helpful. I'll check out the accomodation you mentioned and hopefully get something booked this weekend. Can I just check about the passes - are they only valid for the 4 days, or are they valid for a certain period of time? Thanks again :)

Those fantasy annual passes give you access to the parks and food/souvenir discounts for 12months from your first day there.
check dlrpmagic for all their info on annual passes including blockout dates (i already checked there are no blockout dates on your july trip).
  • Hi can you please help me with the ticket site ce multiavantage
I'm brand new to looking into Disneyland Paris so bear with me.
From the reading up I think it's cheaper to book hotel and park tickets separately.
We are a family of 5 ... 2 adults , 3 year old, 5 year old and 7 years old.

We are going to fly. In August.

I think possibly the explorer hotel.

Are the tickets from ce multiavantage 125 euros for adult and then 35 for children? How much would the 3rd child be?

Also is it the fantasy one I need

    Gosh I'm confused

    Thanks

yes, fantasy passes are fine for an August trip, there are no blockout dates at all for August this year for the Fantasy annual pass.

The wording on the cemultiavantages site for the 35euros childs pass is
"For the purchase of an adult passport opportunity to buy one child passport (equivalent to adult passport purchased) from 3 to 11 years included 35 € s:"

so you can only get 2 children's passes at 35 euros each. The 3rd children's pass would cost you 125 euros (there is no other price, its either 125 euros or 35 euros).

Depending on how many days you are thinking of needing for park access on your trip, it might be cheaper for you to buy the 2 adults and 2 children's 35 euros passes through cemultiavantages, and then buy a childs park hopper ticket from the likes of attractiontix, etc etc.
  • Thanks for replying. 4 nights so I'm guessing buying a third 125 euro ticket would be best

In your opinion for 5 of us

    Hotel 886 (with breakfast)
    Flights 420
    Tickets 380
    = 1686 ish

    In August

    Seem ok?
