I would book for earlier - the characters come out in groups of 2 or 3 every 30 minutes, so you may only catch a couple of them if you stick with your 2pm reservation.0

Thanks ballet shoes! Think we might have to have a re think then. Was hoping to go for lunch before we got the Eurostar home, might try and book for an evening instead!0

The Eurostar fares and flights for July have already been on sale for months and months too, so the cheap fares will have gone already. You might be able to get a cheaper Eurostar fare going indirect via Lille (those fares come out around 12-14 weeks before your travel dates).
How long were you thinking of going for? And how many days did you think you might want to spend in the DLP parks?
Thankyou Ballet Shoes!
I know, it's not the best time of year. What is the best time to go within Uk school holidays do you think?
I'm thinking of spending about 3 days at the parks. Do you think this is enough for a 6yr olds first time? I've never been before myself?xx0 -

yes, for a first trip I think 3 days is a good length of time. The best time to go is usually May half term - because often you miss most other European countries school holidays then. Next year though, its Ascension Day at the end of May next year, so that means a long weekend for almost all of France, which will make the parks very busy then. If you can fit it in, this May half term would be a good time to go

that is news to me i thought French kids were off at the same time as UK. So are you saying that w/c 27th May is a good week to go? If so i might reconsider my plans for June.0 -

I've started using the official French schools holiday website to check -
http://www.education.gouv.fr/pid25058/le-calendrier-scolaire.html
as the About France one had different dates the last time I looked at it. This year all French school holidays will be over by mid-May, then they are in school until the start of their summer holidays in July.
eta - just checked and aboutfrance is still wrong for its October 2013 half term dates.0 -
Hi, I'm considering how many euros to get for our 4 day/3 night trip in 4 weeks. Am I right in thinking that we can pay for pretty much everything in and around the parks with a credit card?
Thanks.0 -
What would be the best priced park tickets for this Saturday + Sunday?0
