we will be going 3-6 may the quotes i have staying in a partner hotel magic circus for 1 adult and 1 13 yr old incl flight and transfers, car parking here and 2 day hopper pass is just over £1000. Where as the cheapest coach trip same hotel is £650. Price is the main factor here for me this time. i have been before 5 times actually over the last 10 years but not since 2009. Do u book direct thro disney and then flights separately?

i never book anything through disney unless its major discount time on their website (so usually its only January to March I stay onsite, all other times its over my budget). For offsite hotels I do everything separately, always have.

which airports can you fly from? I've never paid more than around £65 per night total for an offsite hotel including breakfast (Magic Circus, Dream Castle, Explorers or Kyriad). My daughter is nearly 12, transfers for us to and from CDG (either by TGV train or shared shuttle booked in advance) are around £60 total. Is a 2-day hopper ticket long enough for you, or would you prefer 3 days or more if you've got the hotel for 3 nights (the main park will be open until after 9pm every night in May).

okay - this is just a quick look around, but heres what i've found -

jet2.com direct from Manchester to Paris CDG, fairly decent times both outward and inbound, for £244 return total (would be £40 cheaper if you can go Thursday rather than Friday). Transfers from the airport to your Disney hotel with either rstransports (shared shuttle price is 38 euros total one way for 2 passengers) or TGV train through rail europe (if the train times or price doesnt suit just book rstransports both ways).

Hotel - 3 nights at the Sejours et affaires apartments in val d'europe is £154 on travelrepublic. Close to the local train station, less than 5 minutes train journey and one stop only from the gates of the DLP parks. You can get a carnet of 10 single tickets for the journey between the parks and val d'europe for less than 20 euros. Or there is a free number 50 bus which runs from an apartment close by to and from DLP and everyone uses with no problems ;).

park tickets - you can either do a 2-day park hopper for around £95 each. Or you could get a 4-day park hopper from travelrepublic for £121 each (with jet2s flight times you could use all 4 days - and its a weekend trip so the parks will be heaving on Saturday and most of Sunday). Or, you could buy Fantasy annual passes at 159 euros each when you arrive at DLP. The beauty of these is that they give you access to Extra Magic Hours (the quietest 2 hours you will see in the main park) every morning, even if you are not staying in a Disney onsite hotel. They also give you discounts on food and souvenirs while you are at DLP, and they also give you a year's entry into the parks at DLP, from the date you buy them (and excluding about 40 days of the year when you can't use them, but your May dates are fine, I already checked).

So, for around £740, you're getting 2 extra days in the parks plus loads of perks if you go for the annual passes, its around £700 with the 4-day park hopper option instead.

for flights, try skyscanners to start you off - there are other flight carriers from Manchester to CDG.

trivago, travelrepublic, expedia, hotels.com, alpharooms etc etc for hotels at Disneyland Paris.

transfers go direct to the companies themselves.

park tickets - try travelrepublic, attractiontix, even just a google for "cheap disneyland paris tickets"

sorry ladychelle, one more thing - its French (including Paris area) school holidays when you are planning on going, so it will be very busy every day of your planned trip.

Hi guys. Looking to go in August for a couple of nights. Strong preference is to stay at one of the on-site hotels, but based on the DLP website prices, I reckon it's about £150pp cheaper to stay off-site in Val d'Europe, even when you factor in all the ticket costs, transport costs etc.

Would be nice to get the on-site hotels a bit cheaper. I've noticed that they're listed on Expedia. The Cheyenne package I'm after is quoted as £861 on the DLP website, but there's a Cheyenne deal on Expedia which is coming in at £778. It says it includes "1 Disney ticket for both parks for each person each day." ... so am I to assume this is exactly the same package as on the Disney website? ie. I get unlimited 2-park entry for my stay, get breakfast, get Magic Hours, etc? Has anyone booked a Disney hotel via Expedia before?? (I notice I can get some Quidco cashback via Expedia too.)

The current DLP offer (30% off) ends on 28th March, so I assume this'll probably impact on the Expedia prices too? Considering i'm looking at August, is it worth booking up by 28th March, or is there any chance of a better offer coming up between now and then? Cheers alex

yes I've booked through Expedia before for a DLP hotel - its exactly the same package you get by booking through DLP itself, all the perks etc.

For August on a 2 night onsite hotel stay at the Cheyenne, its unlikely to get much better than 30% off, but there might be similar offers after 28th March.

yes, annual passes cover school holidays. Do you have any children in your party who will be aged 3 to 6 when you next go to DLP?
We will only have 1 in that age range next may when we are looking to go x
    :j
    Nov 2012 - Loan £1200, CC1 £1450
    CC2 £1300, CC3 £100
    Next £200

    I will get rid!!!!

so you are a party of 11 in total, including one infant? That means 3 onsite rooms, which will be expensive. You could have a look at the prices for May this year on the official DLP site, to give you an idea of prices.

The Explorers hotel (one of the associated hotels, with free shuttle buses to and from the parks all day every day) has room configurations for up to 10 people on one booking (so you'd get 2 rooms for 4 people, plus one bunk-bed room in the middle, all with interconnecting doors). You could look at booking that on bed and breakfast through travelrepublic, expedia, etc etc. Then look at buying annual passes for your park tickets, look at promoparcs or cemultiavantages (but its too early at the moment to buy them for next year) as they offer discounted price annual passes for DLP, plus your child aged 3-6 would get a free pass because you are buying adult ones through either of those companies.
Check DLRPMagic to see if Fantasy passes will suit (as there are blockout dates for Fantasy passes, but if there are none on your dates they will be great for your party, as they give you access to Extra Magic Hours no matter where you are staying, and discounts on food and souvenirs in the parks during your stay).
