Towards the end of the year, either for Hallowe'en or Christmas but not near enough to the actual holidays that the price will be extortionate. I don't mind either travelling by Eurostar or flying, whichever is cheapest.

there won't be any great deals out for that time of year for an onsite hotel/tickets package for ages yet (ie around August this year I'd have thought).

Always book your own travel separately, so you could have a look at that now.

As a rough guide, you can get a very nice offsite hotel with breakfast and free shuttle to the parks included, for around £70 per night per room, and your annual passes for park tickets would be around £115 each through promoparcs or cemultiavantages. Its too early to book these at the moment, but it will give you an idea of the kind of budget you're probably looking at.

Is it better value to get annual passes rather than tickets just for the 4 days? Thanks for the advice!

definitely - they are about the same price as a 4-day park hopper ticket, and they give you restaurant and shopping discounts that you don't get with normal park tickets. The Fantasy annual passes also give you access to Extra Magic Hours, if you feel up to it. Have a look at DLRPMagic - they have a great information page all about annual passes.

To save me trawling through all 450 pages again, could anyone recommend a good link for an airport transfer to the New York hotel. We were planning to get the bus but OH now has a bad leg and we need to minimise the walking and stress. I'm hoping that would be easier and reasonable rather than three bus tickets?

Also we might have a problem now getting around the parks. Is it possible to borrow a wheelchair at the entrance if he needs it? Does anyone have any tips for the temporarily infirm ( and possibly grumpy) travellers. I was thinking of mailing the hotel for a closer room to the lifts and reception as well.

    Thanks in advance!

rstransports, tioshuttle, ezyshuttle.com, and interprestige. Try them for transfers to and from the airport and your hotel at DLP.

Yes, you can hire wheelchairs at DLP, no idea how much the hire charge is though. If you email

    DLP.GUEST.COMMUNICATION@disney.com

they will be able to advise you, and you can also ask them for a suitable room at the Hotel New York.
  • We have bought meal vouchers as part of our package and had to buy them for all members of our party, including our 3 year old granddaughter. If we do not use all her vouchers, would we be able to put these towards the bill for the lunch we have booked on our last day at Cafe Mickey (we will probably order pizzas).

Just got back from disney yesterday. First of all wang to thank everyone especially ballet shoes for all the help. Now my review.we were four me hubby and boys 4 and 5 . Booked tickets thru the sun deal all three days so that was a good bargain for 100 pounds for all of us . Travelled by Eurostar costed 300 pounds . I found Eurostar to be very time consuming And hectic and next time we are booking flights as its very easy to get to disney from airport.we booked hotel Santa Fe 280 pounds for three nights whicb was very very nice and only 4 minutes bus to disney.the buffalo bill shows was worth it and we loved it.cafe mickey was also good if your kids enjoy seeing characters .the key to enjoy disney is to get up really early have breakfast and be at park at eight.have the rides and queue early for ur favourite one.we managed to do all important rides twice.the boys loves the playhouse disney show and stunt show .we took about 25 pounds worth of snacks and drinks before leaving that really saved money as boys would eat when they wanted from the pushchair.dusney express service was great and saved us time.any questions please ask .

Yes,you can do this no problem.
  • Yes,you can do this problem.

Thanks balletshoes, I'm hoping you meant to say 'you can do this NO problem'?
I'm sure she will fill up on the 'fast food' pizzas, chips etc we plan to have at lunchtime, and will be too tired to eat much in the evening, so we may end up putting her to bed early (guess we will be babysitting while her parents enjoy their meal!)
As the child meal vouchers cost 11 euros per day, we can't afford to waste this money, so if we can put it towards our Cafe Mickey meal that would be great. Thanks again
