We are traveling to disney in a fortnight, we got our tickets through the Sun offer. Can we get another days ticket at a discount when we get there. Like you can at our theme parks or is it better to buy in advance.

    Thanks

Don't wait until you get there, your only option will be to pay full gate price for any additional days you want, theres no discounts available at all at the park gates at DLP.
  • Another thing, I'm pregnant.....does this mean mam is going to miss out on everything????

I am not 100% sure but if you are pregnant I have seen some women with orange passes (which I think you can get fron City Hall) which allow you not to queue for too long

I have deff seen some french women with them

Ballet Shoes might be able to confirm

Have a great time roll on Easter for us

Oh right where's city hall?? If I can't go on rides does it mean its similar to a queue jump so I don't have to wait with children??

Also anyone know if I say, no I want to go on a ride will they still let me??? Heard a few rides like dumbo etc are really tame and would do no harm at all xx

city hall is near the entrance to the main park. Once you are through the ticket turnstiles, walk under the archways and you are out in the town square. Look to your left and you'll see City Hall.

You'll be stopped from going on most rides at DLP (including Dumbo) if you use a pregnancy access pass (the one you get at City Hall) so if you want to go on a ride and you're sure its safe for you to ride, don't show the pass to anyone. You will be point-blank refused to ride by the staff members on the ride.

to be perfectly honest I'm not sure the pregnancy access pass works particularly well if your are there with your family and don't want to be split up - because the pregnancy access pass, as I've see it reported used in the past, is for you and one other person only ie it doesn't let all your kids in the exit gate area of the rides you are permitted to do, only one, and that one needs to be old enough to be accompanying you in case you need support. Its the same if you show the pass to get in the passholders viewing area for Dreams and the daily parades - it only allows you and one other person from your group into the designated viewing areas.

I think its worth going to City Hall and asking them about this, and how many you can take with you into the exit pass area of the very few rides you'll be able to use it on, and the parades etc. But don't be surprised if its not that useful for you all.

    Hi all,
Just wanted to say - we made it! What an exhausting day that was. We did the Village on Sunday and Cafe Mickey, although I did not really rate it. There were not many characters around and the food was not the best, but overall enjoyed the evening wondering around and went to the Disneyland Hotel for a little look there.

How we did on the Monday = The EM hours really made a difference as we only had the one day. In the park for 8am (lovely sight and took some great pictures of the Castle with nobody around at all) and did all the EM rides in Fantasy and Discovery, including Orbitron and got in the queue for Startours to be the first in at 10am then into Captain EO. Then over to Frontier to FP BTM and do Haunted Mansion and to Adventure to do the Aladdin Passage and Robinson tree thingi! Then good timing for our FP time for BTM. I think it was about 1pm by then and the park was busy. Sadly for me my daughter was not really into the Castle, so I missed out as she wanted coasters :-( So, so not to miss out on the Studios we headed there, caught the parade, and managed Crush Coaster (GREAT RIDE), slinky dog (for a laugh-small queue) and RC Racer.

Then back to the Park for the Parade and did Buzz again, Autopia and Small World (not to be missed) and caught the fireworks before the exit to McDonalds!

All in all, we did 13 rides in the Park and 3 over in Walt plus 2 walk on attractions, we slept well that night I can tell you!

I'm gutted to have missed the Snow White one and the Castle, but my daughter had adventure plan's. She is gutted to have missed out to the Tower of Terror and that she was not tall enough for space mountain.

All in all, would I go back, yes I would, but I would take advantage of the character meet either in the Toon Plaza (?) or the Disneyland Hotel (between 8am to 11am) and greet and not go to Cafe Mickey.

Thanks for all your help everyone, we had a great 2 day's. :-) I'm now off to check out the deal for Alton Towers in the Sun! :-) Need to see if she is more of a coaster girl than Disney :-(
