Hopefully flying, just priced exporers up on last min for this jan and its £1200 roughly for the 5 of us this year. That is for 4 nights though as flight is late, Would then need to buy 3 days worth of tickets, or an annual pass.

I can see this becoming just as expensive for the time we are awaay compared to Florida for the time you spend there :/ £7k for 14 days, where as around £2k or more depending on ticket cost for 3 days. lol

Ouch, yes forget that! We for example, are selling the Exploreres - 4 nights with 5 days passes for £698.00 for this January. You should get it for around £1.1K max including your transfer for next year if you book it at the right time. I am not sure about Florida but I can imagine 7K sounds about right!

Yes, the Explorers is offering a free night. Make sure when you do book the Explorers for next January that you get the FREE night/FREE day included :)

I will send you a PM with my details.
Its always worth shopping around. The prices are not out for next January and also remember that it depends on where you want to fly from...etc as this can make a difference to the cost too. If you book at the right time, you should get a good price for sure.
    Happy :)

I am looking at taking my 3 children to Disney in paris, Unfortunatly i can't afford Florida, so this is the next best thing.

As we are a family of 5 i am struggling to find anything other than the Davy Crockett, but im not driving out there. Can anyone recommend any other accomodation which will fit the 5 of us in please?

According to a lady in Thomsons the Newport Bay has 1 family room free but i would be looking at £900 for 3 nights before flights and spends.

How much would you estimate a family of 5 for next Jan please? I was hoping to get it all in below £1k, (not spends obviously lol) but i have a feeling its going to cost me more around £1500 for 3 nights.

My kids will be 10, 8 and 5 when we go.

    Thank you :)

for January next year, if the deals are similar to this year, you might be better booking 2 rooms onsite with DLP's own 2 nights free deal and all kids aged under 12 go free deal (these 2 deals are generally combined for the period January to March each year). For example, you could get a room for 4 nights/5 days, including park tickets for all the kids and for one adult for the duration of your stay, at either the Santa Fe or Cheyenne hotels, for less than £300. So 2 rooms, thats less than £600, all park passes included, and onsite, so access to Extra Magic Hours too.

That exact same deal for January this year came out on the official DLP site in August last year (as thats when I booked with the same offer :)).

So if you'd rather stay onsite, then I'd say wait until the deals for next January come out from Disney.

This is a good option actually! I just checked and for this January the two rooms would work out for 4 nights at £520
As long as you dont mind two rooms, as OP said, you get the Magic Hours, and on site! The problem is that by the time these come out, sometimes the flight prices have gone up! But definately keep an eye out for this offer coming out for next January! :)

    Hi,

I want to travel with 2 other adults by Eurostar to Disneyland Paris (from London) on 29 May 2013 returning on 2 June.

I've never booked tickets for (or used) Eurostar before and was looking for some advice.

I know I can't buy tickets for a couple of weeks, but I have a few questions before I book.

Do the standard £69 fares sell out quick, so it is best to ring or try booking online?
Are all seats the same, or is better to travel in certain seats/carriages?
Is there only 1 train per day?

    Thanks in advance

the direct Eurostar service to DLP has been on sale for your dates for months already, so you can and should book it now, it will only get more expensive.

If its the indirect service (via Lille) you're waiting for, that fare will become available to book around 12 weeks before travel.

Yes, there is only one direct service per day, but usually around a dozen indirect trains.

    Thanks.

What is the difference with the indirect train? Obviously it will be longer, but do you have to change and is it cheaper?

When I rang up and asked to book tickets previously, they said I had to wait the 120 days? Nothing about direct/indirect trains!

you can see the direct train fare already -
    http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/_SvBoExpressBookingTerm?_TMS=1358105579921&_DLG=SvBoExpressBookingTerm&_LANG=UK&_AGENCY=ESTAR&country=UK&lang=UK&VT=EB

Its currently around £200 each return on the direct train . So if you want to go by Eurostar, I think your only option is to wait until 12 weeks before travel and book the indirect train. It stops at Lille where you change to another train, so you usually have about an hour extra travelling time compared to the direct train. If you book the indirect train as soon as it becomes available (so for you I'd say phone and check with Eurostar around the 3rd week of Februray) you might get the cheapest £69 return fare, but theres no guarantee, especially since that week is English schools half term holidays, so there will be lots of other people with the same idea.

If you go on the Eurostar website you can play about with the dates etc, and see what times the indirect services are (so pick a Wednesday then the Sunday after it in the next 2 months, to see what the times are for the indirect trains. They don't change the times generally).

    Thanks once again.

I was going by what they had said and the website when I searched for £69 fares.

I didn't realise these were indirect trains and that there were others already on sale. I don't think I'll go for the £200 ones!
