Hi.
The trivago website sent us to the thomas's website. Then searching on there for 2 bbokings, one booking for a 2 adults and 2 kids and one room for 2 adults came to the £530 price in total. WEirdly booking as 4 adults and 2 kids (came out more expensive, even though the results showed the same rooms (one 4 and one double.
Going to book today.
Thanks so much for all you help everyone! (i'm sure i'l be back mithereing soon anyway!, ha ha)
Cannot wait to go! So excited.balletshoes wrote: »no, you haven't necessarily done anything wrong - but trivago isn't the actual booking agent, its a comparison website, so to be sure of the final price you have to click on the deal and make sure it includes you all. But hopefully the £530 is right!

how tall is your little one bulldog? DLRPMagic has loads of information about children's rides and attractions, there are loads of rides and shows in both parks for her, and she might love seeing the characters (even if not up close). The parades seem to grab little ones' attention too, very colourful.
http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/advice/ride-restrictions/#Child_suitability
on attractiontix, a 2-day adult park ticket is £92, a 3-day tickets (with 4th day free) is more expensive than an annual pass. But, with a normal park ticket (ie not an Fantasy annual pass) you don't get access to Extra Magic Hours in the main park - and thats where most of the little children's rides in Fantasyland are open, if you ride them in EMH time you don't have to queue.
Also, with a normal park ticket you get no discounts on food or souvenirs, with an annual pass you do (typically 10% off both, which can mount up at DLP).0 -
Thanks ballet shoes, I think she's only about 85cm, I'll take a look at that website though, thanks!
I think fantasy passes are def the way forward then, seems that we wouldn't be saving much buying 2 days passes and them like you say we miss out on the extra benefits!
Thanks for your helpful advise....again!! X0 -
Hi Guys need some advice please.
Looking to go to DLP for the little ones birthday (treat for us too), 2 adults & 1 child, roughly on the 3rd March (but flexible on the dates +/- a week) 4 nights at the Santa Fe or Cheyenne and travel by Air (from Bristol)
I have seen a package online from travelmagical.co.uk for £850, cheapest I could find, but has anyone heard about or used this company before? I have tried looking for reviews for this company but can not find any online.
If I book everything myself it does come to about £820 but I will have to get from Charles de Gaulle to the Park myself. What method of transport is the best value for money for getting there?
Thanks0 -

I've never heard of the holiday company you've mentioned - how much is the same package on the official DLP website?
If the package includes transfers from the airport to your DLP hotel, it will be by VEA coach. The current price if you book that separately is 17 euros per adult, 13 euros per child aged over 4, each way.
Can you change your dates so you are avoiding the 2nd to the 17th March? Its just that those dates are when the Parisien schools are on holiday, so the parks will be busy then.0 -

I couldnt find the Cheyenne or Santa Fe available on the 3rd for 4 nights at this price. Are you using the Easyjet or Air France flights? That will make a difference. If you are using Easyjet flights you will loose the first day (late arrival), the £820 still sounds quite expensive if it doesnt include transfers?. The transfers we sell are £125 in Private Car with car seats if required so you are looking at this kind of price return. Value for money you can use the train, but I believe it only runs certain hours so the same question applies to which flight times you are using to whether you can take the train or not (which normally works out the best value but you have to get from station to your hotel). Otheriwse, the shuttle we sell works out £99 return total including car seats. You can do the VEA coach also but it only runs certain hours so it depends on your flights. I hope this gives you a guide and if you have any more questions, please dont hesitate to ask.Happy0 -

I am looking at taking my 3 children to Disney in paris, Unfortunatly i can't afford Florida, so this is the next best thing.
As we are a family of 5 i am struggling to find anything other than the Davy Crockett, but im not driving out there. Can anyone recommend any other accomodation which will fit the 5 of us in please?
According to a lady in Thomsons the Newport Bay has 1 family room free but i would be looking at £900 for 3 nights before flights and spends.
How much would you estimate a family of 5 for next Jan please? I was hoping to get it all in below £1k, (not spends obviously lol) but i have a feeling its going to cost me more around £1500 for 3 nights.
My kids will be 10, 8 and 5 when we go.
Thank you0 -

I would personally do the Explorers or Magic Circus Hotel. The Santa Fe also offer Family Rooms if you are looking for something on site. How are you looking to get there?Happy0 -
Hopefully flying, just priced exporers up on last min for this jan and its £1200 roughly for the 5 of us this year. That is for 4 nights though as flight is late, Would then need to buy 3 days worth of tickets, or an annual pass.
I can see this becoming just as expensive for the time we are awaay compared to Florida for the time you spend there£7k for 14 days, where as around £2k or more depending on ticket cost for 3 days. lol
