Not including spending money, 500, ive looked at flights, which come to around 110, not add ons.

you will need to budget for transfers between the airport and your hotel, (its at least 38 euros each way for the 2 of you by shared shuttle from CDG).

Groupon are doing an offer just now which includes January - that might work for you (there are no special offers on the DLP site just now). The Magic Circus is a lovely hotel :).

    Hi all

After my post a few months ago (where i'd literally just missed a 40% off deal for March 2013 by a few days) i've waited and waited for another but just my luck, there hasn't been one for the right dates!

Just after a bit of advice really..... is there any point waiting on any longer, or should i just take the hit, chalk it down to bad luck for being too late missing the 40% offer and book it now - OR is there likely any Xmas/New Year offers in the pipeline based on past years?? I made the huge mistake of telling my little boy, when he kept pestering me to go to Majorca again next year (i can't, i'll be heavily pregnant/with a newborn) that i'll take him to Disneyland instead and now he won't stop banging on about it. That'll learn me!

    TIA!

are you seeing anything on the DLP website which is inside your budget? If yes, then book it, if not, then wait.

    2 adults, 2 children (both under 6).

Where is the best place to book?

Which is cheaper, Ferry or Eurotunnel?

Does self catering in the Davy Crockett Ranch (and stocking up in the local supermarkets for next days lunches to take into the park) work out cheaper than going half board in a hotel?
  • I'm currently researching into getting the missus a birthday present, and wanted to take her to Disneyland Paris for a couple of days in March. It would be around 25th - 28th for four days, three nights. I have no idea what the best prices or the best way to get there. We would be going from London, either through Eurostar, flight or last resort, ferry.

I want the first day to be that of getting to Paris, having a look at the sights, touristy stuff, having a lovely meal, then getting an early night for the early start the next day for day 1 of the park. With day 1 being in the main park and day 2 being in the studio. Around this time, im hoping that there wouldnt be much queuing or many children running about.

In terms of the ticket, i want to get both parks, with attending the shows and such, plus the studio. And hopefully getting the queue jump as part of it. A day two day Hopper ticket has come up a few times but dont know if there is a cheaper option. As i only want a two day ticket, i can't really use the whole, 1 day, 1 night free into the third day.

With the hotel, i do want somewhere that is close, but doesn't need to be massively overpriced. I'm sure we'll be fine with somewhere hidden but cheap. And sharing just one bed is absolutely fine. I do want breakfast as part of the deal. And with the food at the parks, if there is a voucher or card to be able to have an all inclusive thing with food and drink, that would be amazing.

This is my first big gift for my girlfriend with us being together for just over a year and i want to make it extra special, even though she'll be 20 and i'll be 23, we are still massive children at heart. Getting to go on all the rides and experience the shows, i know it'll be a holiday she'll never forget, considering she has never left the UK either and never been on a plane! If anyone can help me through it, pointing me in the right direction, linking pages, i will appreciate every last point. Any hotels you wish to suggest, any deals you used, any shortcuts i can navigate, please spill! Thanks!

check the prices now for Eurostar - they are available online for London to DLP up to July 2013.

there may be - its Italian and Irish school holidays that week, plus of course the end of that week is Easter weekend itself.

the "queue jump" is fastpass, which is completely free at DLP and you can use fastpass no matter what kind of park entry ticket you have and where you got it.

unless you book with Disney (and pay loads for it) you can't do all inclusive or any dining plan for DLP. They are not worth it anyway at DLP, just save up your spending money and take it with you, you could do a prepay travelcard and use that at DLP.

for the hotel, as you're not bothered about onsite, just google the likes of trivago, expedia, travelrepublic, alpharooms, hotels.com etc etc for Disneyland Paris - loads of hotels will come up in the area. as you only want 2 days worth of park tickets, keep an eye on ticketnet.fr, also the french version of the DLP website, for discounted price park tickets.
  • I'm looking to go to DLP next August (19th) for 4 nights with my husband and our 5 year old daughter. We went this August for a day (stayed a couple of nights) and stayed in the Dream Castle Hotel. It was lovely but next time I'm considering the Sequoia Lodge. I've looked at the current deals and it's working out around £944 including park tickets. This still seems like a lot of money! Can anyone recommend how and if to get better deals? Also, I was hoping to go by Eurostar as CDG airport is a total nightmare BUT the fares are coming out at around £630. I can fly there and back for £221!! Our other alternative was to wait until Oct half term and go then but the prices are pretty much the same and the weather will be better in August. Any help/advice would be gratefully received thank you.

that Sequoia Lodge price is with the 2 nights free deal, so works out at around 38% discount. I'll be honest, its not likely to get much cheaper than that for onsite including park tickets.

If I were you I'd stick with the Dream Castle (or Magic Circus) and buy annual passes for park tickets, through cemultiavantages or promoparcs (as you get a free child's annual pass for your daughter as she is aged under 7, when you buy a discounted price annual pass for yourself and your OH). Book the Dream Castle through an agent, not Disney, and not the hotel's own website (they are usually more expensive than you can get the same room for on travelrepublic, expedia, etc etc).
  • Thank you balletshoes for your very quick reply! I have actually looked at the Dream Castle Hotel again through Travel Republic and it's £582 for those dates. I'm not sure how confident I am about buying park tickets through a French site! Also, I don't know if the saving it would give me would be worth it but it might be. I will keep looking and hoping that I stumble across a bargain along the way!

there are no fantasy annual pass blockout dates in August next year, so you could get your 3 fantasy annual passes for a total of around 270 euros, so that added to your Dream Castle price would still be a couple of hundred pounds saving over the Sequoia Lodge, plus the annual passes give you food and souvenir discounts while you are at DLP -

eta - I notice the Kyriad hotel (next door to the Dream Castle) is only £369 for your dates - thats another nice hotel, but it doesn't have a swimming pool.

    Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice. Have priced up Disney to go on 1st Jan, 3 nights, 2 adults, 1 child, staying at the Cheyenne. £811.00 for tickets, accommodation and brekkie - is this about the going rate? Add on the flights and meal plan and it works out at £1600... Am I mad to consider it?! First time abroad, so a bit nervous about doing things separately which looks to save about £75.

Suppose what I'm asking is would it be much less than this at other times of year (restricted to school holidays), if I wait for the various sales?

    Thanks for any advice

    Vtmil x
