I had heard of people doi that, although then someone told me that you get searched going into the park, is this true?
all bags are checked every day at the security gates of the parks, but they are not looking for food and they won't stop you taking food or soft drinks in, unless its in glass bottles etc.0 -

Could potentially save a small fortune doing that!
I was purchasing drinks from the rail station by the entrance to the parks. I think that saved me quite a bit.
I do that everytime we go. I take sandwich bags with me from home so they're easier to carry around. Its very 'crumby' when you wrap them in napkins :rotfl:COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0 -
Quick question, we are going to Disney in January and want to book cafe mickey again. My parents coming to Paris for 2 days but not staying at Disney so no park passes. I can't remember where the cafe mickey / planet Hollywood etc is! Can we get in with parents or do you need to go through the gates (which parents couldn't do)
Thanks!!0 -

no need to worry - Cafe Mickey and Planet Hollywood are in the Village, this is outside the park gates, no park tickets needed to visit the Village.

Unless I'm reading it wrong (French never was my strong-point and Google translation's not working!), the French version of the DLP site currently has a flash sale for arrivals between 5th December 2012 and 31st January 2013. 50% off for 3 days/2 nights or 4 days/3 nights and 40% off for 2 days/1 night. Book by 9th December.
Hope this is helpful to someone!

Hi,
This is my first post but this seem the best place to get advice from regards DLP. I've booked 2 nights 3 days at Davy Crockett Ranch for me and the girlfriend she obsessed with Disney and has never been me not so much. I wanted to know how difficult is the drive from uk to DLP then to the parks each morning as I think driving there suits us better. Also some of the must things to do and anything that we would defo need to know as this is a first for us both and want to get most things right for once ha:D all help and info is much appreciated!!0
