I can't help with Paris, we've never found time to do that yet :). None of the transfer options from CDG to DLP are particularly cheap, you could check the VEA site for the coach prices and times, or shared/private shuttle price with rstransports.
  • Hi there, we're looking to go to Disneyland Paris for the 1st time in July 2013, either the 1st or 2nd week.

At present I can get 4 nights/5 days at Santa Fe for £926 for 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 11). Is this a good deal?

We're thinking of driving from Edinburgh, getting the Tunnel across, spending 4 nights at DLP then going camping somewhere a bit further south for a further week. Does this sound reasonable or are we mad?

    Thanks
  • In case it's useful to anyone - Quidco are currently doing 5.5% cashback on DLP bookings but only for a few days. As far as I know usual rate is 3.5% but they offer 5.5% fairly frequently.

I think thats really expensive to be honest. I'd wait for a better deal to come along.

eta - a 4-night stay at the Santa Fe for one adult, early July midweek, is £516 on the current offer. As your kids are too old to "go free" at DLP you could book one of you adults in on the package, then buy fantasy annual passes for the other 3 in your party (only the 6th July is a blockout date for those passes, so avoid that date for your stay) from promoparcs or cemultiavantages for 125 euros each. Then you can add those extra 3 names to the Santa Fe room when you arrive (all Santa Fe standard rooms take 4 guests) for no extra charge. That would save around £100 on the current DLP offer for all of you.

Or, you could look at booking one of the very nearby hotels independently (Kyriad, Explorers, Dream Castle, or Magic Circus) and all of you get the Fantasy passes at 125 euros each. ie the Kyriad is around £352 total, bed and breakfast, for 1st to 5th July, for you all on travelrepublic at the moment.

    Hi

We are taking the kids the holiday to Disneyland Paris for a present, any ideas on how to package the holiday?
I wanted some maps or mini suitcases maybe?

    Thanks in advance xxx

A friend of mine did something similar a week before. If I remember rightly she had a child trolley case with a holiday brochure in, she then went to the pound stores and bought sweets, socks, hat scarf & gloves with Disney characters on which all went with her daughter and were used , not sure if she bought the plastic cups I managed to pick up some tinkerbell shower gel which goes with my daughter on every trip and the best bit was a complete outfit.
it depends how old the children are. She put everything in on top of the brochure so it was the last thing her daughter saw
