Sorry another question! Im planning on booking for Buffalo Bill and Lunch at Auberge De Cendrillon, for when I go on May 13th, is it worth booking when I book the Hotel or will I be able to find offers somewhere else nearer the time?

    Thank you

you'll definitely find offers for Buffalo Bills nearer the time before you go. The Auberge meal you can either add to your booking before you go and prepay it, or you can just pay for it when you are there (these are the only 2 options on the Auberge meal usually).

I'm still waiting for ticketnet.fr to have tickets available for Buffalo Bills Show for the 23rd November. I can get them through Disney but think it's worth hanging off as opposed to paying double the price.
  • I'm disappointed with the spring offers too, like 'running man' I only want to book 3 nights, as I've already booked Eurostar! Wish I had waited now! This offer looks like it is running until the end of jan, so no chance of anything else before then.
Is there anywhere else I can book Disney hotels with park tickets that might be at a better price?

I wouldn't worry too much right now about the only offer being 2 nights free when you buy 2 nights. That was the offer when the winter 2012 dates came out too, and it was closely followed by an up to 40% off offer, on stays of 3 nights or more, across all the onsite hotels :). Remember to check the other countries versions of the DLP site too, each country gets different offers at different times. You can get onsite hotel packages through Expedia, Trivago can also show the onsite hotels.

If you're considering any of the partner hotels, they will almost certainly be cheaper for you if you book them yourself through various agents (travelrepublic, expedia, hotels.com, alpharooms etc etc) and then buy annual passes as park tickets for your 4 days.

Can anyone tell me if it is worthwhile paying for the full board standard plan if we visit in feb 2013 (2 adults and 1 child). We will be there for 3 nights? :-)

I don't think its worth paying for any of the dining plans at DLP, they are restrictive and don't save you anything like the "up to 10%" they advertise.

    Can anyone offer some advice...

I am looking to go DLP with family, wife, daughter (3) and son (5). Had originally thought to go in april, but seems weather will be quite cold, so we are now looking into the summer.

When do french kids and english kids school holidays begin?

I am hoping, that due to scottish holidays starting earlier i.e 28th June, that we can miss some of the summer rush.

Also, whats best way to book? Flights/Hotel/Park tickets from one agent or all seperate

French schools break up 6th July next year, English schools are later in July. However, Spanish, Italian and Irish schools break up at around the same time as Scottish schools each year for the summer holidays. So it won't be really quiet, but it will still be a good time to go (ie before high summer season starts).

It depends what you want, which is best for you. If you want to stay onsite, usually the best way to do it is book your travel separately yourself, and then your hotel/park tickets together, when a decent offer comes out.
  • Hi everyone!!

Have finally decided that we're going to push the boat out and go to DLP for my 40th!!!

Now, there is myself my dh and 3 and half year old twins. Eventually persuaded my dh to stay in the DLH quoting all the good reasons ie near park, hot brekie etc etc.

However, came to book today and whilst I had got used to the price of the DLH it came as a bit of a shock to think that for £500 less we could stay in the Newport Bay Club or the Sequoia Lodge. My husband says we only sleep in the room and that it's a lot of extra spending money!!!!

Your expert opinions as always are welcomed as to a) which of the 2 hotels is better ie decor, vicinity, amenities and b) is the DLH really worth that much extra?

    Thanks again everyone.

to me the DLH is only worth it with young children if you're going at the height of winter when it really might be a good idea to be as close to the parks as you can, to get out of the cold.

Between the Sequoia Lodge and the Newport Bay Club, I'd always pick the Sequoia Lodge. The Newport Bay Club is huge, its too big for me, and its not scheduled for its refurb to be completed until 2014. The Sequoia Lodge has just been completely refurbed and is looking great! The amenities/facilities are similar in both hotels, and they are a similar distance to the parks. Both have free shuttle buses all day every day too. You can pay a supplement to have hot breakfast (although its not a full hot buffet like the DLH and HNY) at both the Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay Club. Or you can do what we do - stay onsite but not at the DLH, but go visit the DLH for breakfast as a treat one day (its 14 euros per adult, 6 euros per child to do this if you're not staying at the DLH), and also go visit the DLH public areas, gift shop, bar, character meet n greets etc.

Is the Hotel New York working out expensive for your dates? That can be a good compromise between the DLH and the Sequoia Lodge/Newport Bay Club - hot breakfast buffet included, slightly closer to the parks than the other 2 hotels, and its not a huge hotel (it has good dinner restaurants in it too).

    Thanks Balletshoes

The New York isn't available on any other offers so that's def out.

I have done a chart (sad I know!) comparing the prices on the Seq and the Newport with either 3/4/5 nights etc. Thought I'd cracked it at the Sequoia for 4 nights but it came up £100 dearer than on Monday 26 as no option to change from a montana room. Do you think that there will be a chance of getting standard room if I call and enquire? That brings the price down by £100.

I want to be there on 25 November, would you say that was very cold and the height of winter? Hoping not!!!

I've tried the Irish site and that's also showing Montana room only on the Sunday

    Thanks a gizzillion!!!
