Hi all, we (two teenagers and hubby and me) are going to the Magic Circus hotel on the 29 - 31 Oct with 2 free sky tickets +2 extra for the 30th. Is there anything we should know/do/ not do? The girls don't know we are going and I'm getting excited now :)
We are driving and ferrying, two weeks today :)

it will be very busy, so you should try to have a plan for your day in the park (is it just one day you have?). I don't think you're likely to get on many rides, but try to fastpass whatever you can in both parks. Get to the park gates for around 9.15, as the turnstiles will open just after that (so get on the shuttle from the Magic Circus to the parks at before 9am). When the main parade is on the rides are a little quieter, and don't miss the Dreams display over the Castle at the end of the park day, its stunning :).

Hi, don't forget you have to exchange the sky vouchers at Guest Services and show your passport. There was a big queue at Main Park but much smaller in Studio. Both are on the right hand side of turnstile entrance, hard to see at Studio tucked away. Not sure what time they open but I am sure someone else will know
  • I am spending 3 days there at half term with DW and 14 year old DS. Last time we visited DS was 3 so apart from taking/ dragging him on Small World:D (revenge is best served cold) as the park will be very busy what are the most suitable rides to head for?

    Thanks

is your half term next week, or w/c 29th? And how many days in the parks do you have?
  • We are heading in on the 31st so we have 3 days in the parks and tickets for the 3 days also the halloween night event. We will probably be able to get there around 10:30am on the Wednesday and leave around 4pm on the Friday

to be honest you might struggle to get on many rides on 31st, that will be the busiest day of the week that week. But you will be in the park until after 1am for the Halloween party, and I'd imagine Frontierland and possibly Discoveryland rides will be open late into the night for you to ride. Use fastpass wherever you can. The official site for thrill rides and family adventure etc gives good descriptions of the rides and who they are suitable for :).

Crush coaster is the main thrill ride these days in the Studios - aim to get to the Studios park by 9.30am on Friday, so you can head straight for this ride as soon as the park turnstiles open (this ride doesn't have fastpass and you'll queue for one hour plus after 10am).
  • Thanks balletshoes
I knew it would be bad I have warned the family no lie in bed in the mornings.

  • I've been a lurker on MSE for ages, but have finally registered to say a HUGE thank you to the person who posted about the free Sky customer tickets. We got 2 more tickets with out Tesco clubcard vouchers and had a magical day on the end of our summer holiday in France. I can't find that thread now, so I hope you know who you are. THANK YOU!!!

Also - you can get your entrance tickets with the Sky voucher straight from the main ticket kiosks, you don't have to go to Guest Services first.

Hi everyone, tickets help please. How much would I be looking at for tickets for 2 adults and 2children and what would be the best deals please. I have looked on this thread and other websites and the lowest I've seen is around £178 for a 2 day 2 park ticket (still seems expensive though!) thank you!
