Hi..going to DLP on 27/10 for 5 nights but yet to organise park tickets (2 adults to toddlers). I signed up for CE Multi but I missed their last deal. Now times ticking by I'm wondering if the deal ship has sailed (especially when we'll be going on blackout days).

Does anyone have any alternative deals that I should be looking at/know when CE will release their next deals?

    Thanks

Are promoparcs and CEmultiavantages not selling their annual passes or park tickets again now?
  • How long does it take for Promoparcs to allow you to book disney tickets after you have joined the club??

I believe you can do it straightaway.

is driving to Ebbsfleet or Ashford an option for you? The direct Eurostar from St Pancras to DLP stops at both of these places on the way to DLP. I know Ashford has premier inns, travelodges etc where you can stay cheaply the night before, and both stations have car parking available too. I haven't looked for hotels in Ebbsfleet, but there may be similar hotels.

I wouldn't do standard premier unless it was almost the same price, because you're paying £24 for some food really aren't you (which you can take on board with you anyway no problems).

    Hi
I live about 5 mins from ebbsfleet station, there are quite a few hotels especially by the dartford tunnel including an Ibis. X
  • Thanks for the replies - St Pancras is our closest option. One of the mums from school has a parking suggestion she's going to get the name of. If it pans out I'll let you know.

    Hi,

We are looking to take our son away for this 3rd birthday. We can leave anytime from Sunday 3rd of March need to be back by Sunday 10th of March.

Not too sure on how many day would be best to go for. Also which would be the best/cheapest way to travel. We would be travelling from the Merseyside area and are open any form of transport.

Any advice would be gratefully received

the bad news is, your whole trip, in those dates, are when the Parisien schools are on holiday next year, so the parks will be busy all the time (their holidays run from 2nd to 17th March).

Driving and taking the Eurotunnel or ferry will probably work out cheapest for you, as you'll need to pay for an airfare for your child. He'd be free on Eurostar, but then you need to get down to St Pancras, and the direct Eurostar fares for March have already been on sale for a couple of months, so the price might already be high (you can check that online though).
If you have Tesco clubcard vouchers these can be used to pay for the Eurotunnel, and also some ferry companies I believe.

For a first trip, I'd say try to go for 3 nights and 4 days in the parks at DLP :).

Thanks for the great advice, have just checked Tesco Clubcard and think that Euro Tunnel will probably be the way we travel. Couldnt see any Paris ferrys but will check again on that.

Unfortunately we have to go the first week in March, so will have to cope with the queues.

Just a couple more questions if you dont mind me asking.

Which hotel would you recommend? We were thinking Santa Fe or Cheyenne, I have just noticed that Sequoia Lodge was coming up for around same price.

Is it worth booking the breakfast or lunch with Disney character?

Is there a best time to book the holiday? Are the prices likely to change much between now and March? Or are there any offers that usually run?

Once again thanks for the help.

I'm guessing the offers aren't brilliant at the moment if the Sequoia Lodge is roughly the same price as the Santa Fe or Cheyenne. Of the 3, I'd go for the Sequoia Lodge, its just been completely refurbished and has a lovely winter feel to it.

Cafe Mickey is great for characters, I wouldn't do breakfast there though, I'd do lunch or dinner (and I wouldn't pay in advance for it).

yes, the offers are bound to change between now and March. Already there have been 2 different up to 40% off offers for those dates, so if you're not seeing 40 off, personally I'd wait for another offer to come around.

Once again thanks for the help.

    hope this helps,

Hello all. Well it doesn't seem like long since I was last here, but we are planning a return trip to Disneyland Paris now we are a family of 5. We are going to go in May/June before our little boy turns 2 so that we can still choose any of the hotels. Have been looking at Hotel New York or Sequoia Lodge. Any advice on these? Would Hotel New York be worth the extra or is Sequoia particularly nice since the refurbishment. When we stayed at the Newport Bay Club last year I thought it seemed like it could do with a makeover. Have also stayed at Hotel CHeyenne many years ago, but I think the girls enjoy having the pool for a splash around.

It looks like the prices are the same throughout that time, so we will bite the bullet and go in half term, prob Mon 27th May for 4 nights. I am presuming a better offer will come out, so will hold out to book the hotel later. Can anyone give me the link to the french school holiday dates? How busy will it be at that time? We have always been in term time before (March last year) so not sure I'm looking forward to encountering queues.

We may go by Eurostar again. Any moneysaving tips for booking it? At the moment the website is saying £359 each way!!! Ouch. Definately be cheaper than booking with Disney though and we get to select our own seat when booking direct don't we? Driving all the waythere is looking increasingly good, though OH did initially have reservations about driving abroad. Alternatively, I would be interested in hearing from anyone with ideas about flying from Exeter or Bristol. I.e. How cheap could we get seats (including one for a 22month old?) and what is the best way to arrange a transfer to Disney.

Sure I will be back with more ponderings soon. Thanks in advance for any help.
