Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Am going to DLP in 3 weeks & want to take the children to Cafe Mickey, I have booked the basic dining plan (for budget reasons), for 2 adults & 1 child (the youngest is 2). I believe I can use the vouchers as cash, how much are they worth & will that go some way towards a meal at Cafe Mickey? Just pizza & sides, nothing fancy. Are the pizzas a decent size?0

I'm not sure how much the standard plan vouchers are worth at face value, I'd guess around 25 euros per adult, 11 euros per child. Yes you can use them at face value at Cafe Mickey for pizza etc. We order one pizza to share between the 2 of us, they are big (ie dinner plate size).0 -

Eurostar nightmare!
I have miscalculated the cost of our Disney Eurostar tickets. Holiday is booked and was a bargain, I (wrongly) assumed I could do the Eurostar £69 return deal. However, this is a ticket to Paris, not Disney, so would require a connnection.
I have priced up for two adults, one child and it is coming back at over £400 return! That is more than I have paid for staying 4 nights at Disney including tickets!
I'm now last minute (holiday is on 17th October) contemplating flights or maybe atrain to paris then transfer to Disney.
Does anyone know which airport is best to fly to?
Any other suggestions (other than don't be so stupid next time!)Saving and spending in equal measure0 -
Paris CDG is the airport with the easiest and quickest transfers to DLP.
You could still do the Eurostar to Paris couldn't you? Have a look on the seat61 website for connections from Paris Gare du Nord to DLP (I believe you take the metro to Chatelet les Halles then the RER local train from there to DLP (Marne la Vallee Chessy).0 -
At the moment my dates for April 2013 are showing 15% off, I was hoping for a better offer, more like the recent 40% off! Is it likely that they will do a better offer nearer the time?0

You may only be getting quotes for the Davy Crockett Ranch because you are choosing one room for 5? You need to change that to 2 rooms.
They will need 2 rooms at all the onsite hotels with the ages of their children, unless they can book a family room (these are very small in numbers though, but are available at the Santa Fe, Newport Bay Club, and Disneyland Hotel).
Ah brill. Ok, so the likelihood of getting a family room is slim. What about the partner hotels? Are family rooms big enough for them more available?
Will have a look at the early booker link, thanks!

The Explorers have room configurations for groups of up to 10, so that would work for them (but it will more than likely be cheaper to book the Explorers through other agents, not Disney, and then buy annual passes for park tickets).
The Magic Circus is like the onsite hotels, they do give prices for rooms for 5, but I believe they are in interconnecting rooms. Again though, it might be cheaper considering this option and paying for annual passes, over booking it all as a package through Disney.0 -
Thanks balletshoes, that's what I thought. I've done some research for her and the Eurostar tickets for the dates we're looking at are currently FAB, so I'm trying to get her to book those as a priority, and get the hotel/tickets later - there's bound to be a better deal before May!! Then I'll look at the 2-room-via-disney / 1-room-partner-hotel-and-annual-passes comparison for her.
Was really surprised at the price of Eurostar, and I know they go up. Does anyone know any tricks for Eurostar? For example, are they good prices because the dates were a Thursday to a Monday, out of all school holidays? Are any particular week days cheaper for going/returning? I'm curious more than anything.
