Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hello Guys
Can I make a big recommendation Please if you are driving get breakdown insurance. Last Night only 100km from Calais after 3 days in Disney we had a tyre blow out big style. We have The Green Insurance euro policy and they were fantastic. In France there are no tyre places open from 6pm till 8am and with a modern car they dont come with spares (only a can of foam !!)
If you breakdown on a toll road you have to use the operators breakdown service (which you do have to pay for and claim back) you have to find the emergency box which is great fun in the dark!!
The Green Insurance Company uses a company called IMA who organised everything from where the car needed to be dropped to taxi from the garage to a hotel and back again with IMA & The Green Insurance calling and texting to make sure we were ok
Eurotunnel even changed our reservation free of charge this morning
What peace of mind god only knows what would have happened if we hadn't had it!!
Can highly recommend them and for just short of £53 a year I am ditching the rac as well!!0 -

how old are you children daz? The reason I'm asking is, the Halloween event on 31st from 7pm is not recommended for young children.0 -
What do you do with unused park tickets? I am going for five days, but arrive late on the first day and have to leave by noon on the final day, so will have four tickets left over as they come with the hotel price (Sequoia Lodge).0

probably not much you will be able to do with them. Generally speaking you don't get much validity period on them once they are issued with a hotel package, maybe a week or so.0 -
Hi everyone!!
So mad at myself as because I dillied and dallied I missed the September deadline for the 40% discount and now my dates have gone up over £200!!!
Someone's mentioned about the possibility of a 'flash sale'. How do I find out about these? Is it just a case of checking the dlp website every day?
Quite flexible on my days towards end of November so hoping that they will still be available.
Thanks

the current deal on the UK site is supposedly going on until the end of November for bookings.
However the Irish site, I believe, still has their 40% off until the 15th October, so I'd try that.
Nobody knows if or when the next flash sale will be, or if it will include your end of November dates (but if a flash sale comes up in the next couple of weeks, it will probably be for November dates).0 -

'Ello all.
Just a quick question - I was looking at dates for a friend and her family (2 adults, 3 children - 11, 9 and 5) but it seems none of the hotels have availability on the dates (except for Davy Crockett). I was first looking in mid May, then tried mid April (after the UK easter hols), but still none available.
Am I being daft, or are the hotels not available to book that far in advance? I was only getting a variety of quotes based on different combinations (annual passes, other deals straight from the Disney website - I know, I missed the 40% lol) ready for her so she knew what type of budget she might be looking at.... lol
Are the main Disney hotels only available from 6 months before or something?
Also, am I right that they could all stay in one room at the Santa Fe?? Or would they need two rooms?
Thanks!

I just had a quick look on the DLP site - theres an early booker offer box at the bottom right of the home page, if you click through there you'll get prices for all the onsite hotels for spring/summer dates for next year.
You may only be getting quotes for the Davy Crockett Ranch because you are choosing one room for 5? You need to change that to 2 rooms.
They will need 2 rooms at all the onsite hotels with the ages of their children, unless they can book a family room (these are very small in numbers though, but are available at the Santa Fe, Newport Bay Club, and Disneyland Hotel).0
