because they've taken the early booker offer off. The dates will be available to book at the end of October again, no idea what the prices will be like though.

Hi everyone, tickets help please. How much would I be looking at for tickets for 2 adults and 2children and what would be the best deals please. I have looked on this thread and other websites and the lowest I've seen is around £178 for a 2 day 2 park ticket (still seems expensive though!) thank you!

is it a 2-day ticket you want? How old are your children, and what dates are you looking at?

  • right everything is booked and paid for, and i'm just wanting an idea of how much we should take with us now. 2 adults and 2 children but we are splitting it between us (its my best friend and i and our 2 children)

we are flying on the 19th december but dont get there till 8pm, booked into the explorers hotel just to stay for that night but will need to source tea when we get there, will there be a restaurant open in the hotel at that time?

then we are staying in cheyenne, 3 nights 4 days, have decided not to do buffalo bill show because the food doesnt appeal to us at all. breakfast is obviously included and from the advice on here we should be able to make some sandwiches up for dinner, or eat cheaply for dinner. we are booking cafe mickey and have taken the advice of not going for set meals but sharing pizza's and things to make it cheaper.

    any ideas of a budget?

there is a pizza bar inside the Explorers, it will still be open at 8pm. If you have any delays in reaching your hotel it might be worth taking some pot snacks etc with you, just for that evening, just in case of delays.

As to budget - for one adult and one child I spend roughly 65 euros per day at DLP. This includes all meals, a couple of hot/cold drinks per day, and a budget of around 50 euros total for souvenirs (apart from maybe one small toy on your first day, get your kids to window shop until your last or second-last day, so you don't end up spending a fortune every day on stuff they want). If they are old enough, tell them what their souvenir budget is, and get them to work out the numbers so they get what they really want the most ;).

if you buy them today (you can print them at home) you can use fnac to get 1-day 2-park tickets for 45 euros per ticket, per person. You can buy 8 of those. You must book them today though, as they are dated tickets, and you must purchase them at least 5 days in advance. fnac is a reputable agency in France, there is no problem using them if you live outside France.

there are advantages and disadvantages with the davy crocket, the disadvantage is that you need a car but the advantages are that you can put the kids to bed and you can then stay up with out disturbing them, also you can cook for yourselves, this saves soooo much money on eating out, you can also take packed lunches for the park, which can be very expensive to eat there

The family (2 adults and 2 kids (13 & 5) would like to go to dlp in the new year, the idea would be to drive down on 2-1-13 and cross by ferry and stay at the explorers hotel for 3nights with 2 days at the parks before driving back on 5-1-13. We did this 7 years ago with the eldest through leger holidays on a self drive but the prices have more than doubled since then. Can someone tell me he cheapest way I'd be able to do this using any offers or buying longer tickets than required to sell on the unused days on eBay?
