i've been to Disneyland Paris every year for the last 9yrs with my family, and always used Tesco Clubcard Deals until they stopped doing it. I worried how I would console the kids with the thought that we wouldn't be able to aford it if we had to pay with our own cash..... until I discovered this lady...

hi poppyolivia have you been to disneyland paris by flight?
if so do you know the cheapest way to get from charles de gaulle airport to disney.
any advice you can offer would be great x
Yeah I always fly. I book direct and get the transfers included BUT when you get to the airport there is taxi drivers that will take you for the same price (so they say) as the transfers....the taxis would be alot quicker but there is something cool about the big red mickey bus that I can't resist!!!:rotfl:
Have you been on the DISBOARDS...sorry thats my answer to anything disney!! But there is heaps of folk on there and they will keep you right...I might be wrong but I think Edinburghlass could be on there too...but that might have been the runrig forum???:rotfl:
If you don't have bus transfers then I would be tempted to go with a taxi...they honestly come up to you and offer their services....ask a price you might be pleasantly suprised....oh yeah is there not a train station near by??????? That would be quick eh????
Sorry I can't be more help but I was told I go with an expensive airline so that shows how much I know!!!:rotfl: And yes I am hoping to sort that out for our next trip!!!;)
Have a great time!!! xxxYou may walk and you may run

You can organise a private hire/taxi, take the Disney bus at around 16 euros or the high speed train, have a read of this thread on the DisBoards....

Yes its me on Disboard but must be someone else on Runrig
We kind of heeded the warning about ignoring the taxi drivers touting for business and eventually found our way to the official bus but for some reason the rather dour driver of the one bus that was there didn't want to take anyone and drove off
Meantime a few drivers were offering their services and we joined up with another family in a mini bus when the driver said it would be the same price as the Disney coach which at the time was 16 Euros. The other family were out the bus first and were charged 45 Euros (we met them later that night in Annettes) however I had the 32 Euros in my hand and just ignored his protests when he appeared to be asking for more! It is certainly easier to use the Disney coach on return as it goes round the hotels at specific times but make sure you know which terminal you depart from as it goes round them all.
For a family it can work out cheaper to have a private hire and saves the hassle of trying to exit the airport as they will meet your flight.0 -

Edinburghlass....we are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids...(7 and 3)..would the kids be 16 euros each too in a taxi so that would be 64 euros all in??? I'm positive they are cheaper on the bus so it might be better for us to get bus...what you think?
Because we get ours all in one price ie flights, transfers bed and breakfast..I'm so not knowing all these prices...gonna try and do it all seperately next time!:oYou may walk and you may run

IM you can still use deals for accom ( 10 mins from DLRP ) and eurotunnel
with www.frenchlife.co.uk
or with airmiles
Thanks
We will always use them for the eurotunnel, but prefer to stay in the Cheyenne Hotel, so we can walk to the Park each morning.
Whats the accommadation like that you suggest?
I take it thats a 10min drive? Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

Just checked the coach website online with a fictional family of 4, now 17 Euros per adult and 13 Euros aged 3 to 11 so it would be 60 Euros each way for your family. If I was taking one of the taxis/mini bus that tout for business I wouldn't pay any more than that and in fact try and haggle them down as they are there to try and get some business.
As you can see from Loobysaver's post they are paying 55 Euros for a family of 4 (and if I had read it earlier I would have seen she prices the Disney coach) via R S Transports but the prices on the website linked from DisBoards show it as being more expensive than 55 but I'm sure she can let us know when she comes back.
