We are going to disneyland paris next week and are thinking about going into Paris for the day whilst we are there.
My girls are 10 and 6. What can be done in one day and what do you think would appeal for kids. They are both really sensible and don't get bored too quickly.
Any advice would be great
ps also I don't know what train tickets to get. Apparantly there are visite and mobilis0 -
The Eiffel Tower is an obvious suggestion. Get there early, before the queues are very bad. Allow plenty of time, since there are numerous attractions included in the entry price, even an ice skating rink (you get skating boots for no additional charge). Take food and drink, since prices up there are sky-high.0

Hi went to disney in march for 5 days didn't quite do everything but i'd say 90% had a little 2 year old so had to take our own buggy. Everyone just leaves the buggs next to the rides just take your bags with you. It rained 3 out of 5 days and they had high winds but 90% of the rides where open. There are a lot of rides or things to see indoor as well.
We stayed at Sequoia lodge paid the bit extra for a hotel with a swimming pool have to say we forced ourselves to ue it and only once. we where getting up at 7am and not coming back till 8pm so there wasn't enough time to use the perks. it was good having the disney characters in the hotel though as we struggled to get up close to some characters in the parks. we booked the hotel and food vouchers through disney as you get passes into the prk included. i did look on expedia but you don't always get the passes and sometime it works out about the sameprice but without the hastle. I have found a good website though if you can go on selected dates (http://www.tothemagic.net/disney/) good prices!
We flew easjet from liverpool for about £250 for all three of us and we got the TGV same as bus price but alot faster from the airport direct to disneyland takes 10mins.
hope this is helpfull we are planning to go again next year to!!:T0 -

We did a day in paris with 2 under 3's a couple of years ago.
We took the rer from disney into paris and got off at chatelet, we just bought the rer tickets from disney to chatelet and back as we were walking. it's very close to notre dame which the children loved, we strolled along the banks of the seine and took in the atmosphere. Did a little shopping then headed to the louvre which i would definetaly recommend. Alot of people thought we were mad taking the children but they loved it. It's all within walking distance and we did it with 2 strollers in tow. We chose to head back then to disney as it was about 5 but if you dont mind staying a little later you could easily fit in the eifel tower though i would say the louvre is 100 x better to see.0 -
for anyone who is interested you can still use your tesco clubcard deals to go to disneyland paris.
i have just booked to go in october with airmiles.
i had to use £350 of clubcard vouchers which took me 18 months to save!!
the reservation is for 2 adults and 2 children.i have got flights(birmingham airport) hotel stay(hotel cheyenne)for 4days/3nights all passes included a character breakfast and travel insurance.
i know its not that good value as you could of converted clubcard vouchers for deals rather than airmiles and would of got £1400 and i know you can go to disney cheaper than that.
however i am rubbish at saving money so this was ideal for me and to think i havent paid a penny in cash is great.
just cant wait to go but finding it VERY hard not to tell the children as its a surprise!!
I was thinking of doing Disneyland through Tesco's but didn't know you could still do this, how do I swap my Clubcard vouchers for airmiles? I have quite a lot so think this could easily be done with them.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

I found CDG the worst airport ever to navigate your way out of
You can organise a private hire/taxi, take the Disney bus at around 16 euros or the high speed train, have a read of this thread on the DisBoards....

Only 2 weeks to go :j
I can't believe how bad the exchange rate is compared to last time I went to DLP
Hoping to try out a few different places to eat this time as we stayed in the Santa Fe last time and ate there every night.

We're going tomorrow and flying. I've arranged transfers with R S Transports. It's 55 euros each way for a family of 4. The VEA bus costs 17 euros each way for adults and 13 euros for children.0
