BF and I are heading to DLP in less than 3 weeks, and as it's my first flight ever I'm a bit confused when it comes to all of the transfer options!
We want to get to DL (staying at SL) as quick as possible, with as less hassle as possible and as cheap as possible.
Would anyone recommend the TGV? Does it become particularly expensive booking closer to your date of travel, and is it an easy transfer? There's only the two of us so will have a suitcase each as well as any hand luggage.
Thanks!0 -

I love the TGV, we always take it back from DLP to CDG on our last day. Literally 10 minutes journey, and you're there in terminal 2. We usually fly with Easyjet so its another 10-15 minutes walk from there to our gates at terminal 2b.
I'll take the TGV from CDG to DLP if theres one that suits me for time (ie around one hour from when we are due to land) and if its an off-peak price (TGV has peak and off-peak prices).
If the TGV price/time doesn't suit me, I'll use rstransport shared shuttle from CDG to DLP. If often works out just as cheap, and quicker (40 minutes maximum journey time from the pick-up point near the terminal 2b exit), when you add in the walk time to the TGV station and then waiting for the TGV scheduled time.
Buying your TGV tickets at least 10 days in advance usually gets you the cheapest price.0 -
Ive just returned from a 4 day 3 night break at Disneyland Paris staying at Davey Crocketts Ranch. We managed to get a deal via the Disneyland Paris.com website that included kids go free plus full board meals included for £1299 for four adults and 2 kids. I would like to get a similar deal but for a week. Do Disneyland do the meals free thing often and when do they do it?? I can book now for a week at Easter for two adults and two kids for £1471 at Sequia (sorry if spelt wrong) Lodge but dont want to miss the free meals deal if it comes up as it saved us a fortune! Anyone know anything about the meals thing and if it becomes available after you have booked can you take advantage of it and add it to your booking? Thanks in advance.

this year was the first time they've done the all your meals free deal for anything outside winter dates (ie November to March, excluding Easter week if that falls in March) in a good couple of years. So I don't think anyone knows if it will come back.
As its "free" when its included in an offer, you can't add it as such, but you could look out for it and if it costs more money for the package compared to what you originally book, but includes the meals for free, you might be able to upgrade your original booking to the "free meals" one.
Only book now if you're happy with the price and conditions though, as no-one can say with any certainty whatsoever that you'll get a better deal and be able to upgrade for your dates of choice.0 -

Thank you for answering. So would you say the price Ive been quoted now departing 23rd March for one week is pretty good? That is based on two adults and 2 children but actually my whole family is intending to visit at the same time so that would mean 8 adults and 5 kids total. When I rang Disney they gave me a number for a group bookings company but their price worked out more than us all booking individually which was odd.
Thanks, Lisa.0 -
if that price is a 40% off offer, then I don't think its going to get much cheaper than that. If it isn't, I'd personally wait to book. Thats a lot of money, unless you're dead set on staying onsite, you could stay very nearby at one of the Disney's associated hotels and buy annual passes which are valid for one whole year from the first time you use it, for a lot less than that.0

Thanks again. I never considered a hotel that wasnt on Disney (Duh!). I will check the prices that way and see how much cheaper it works out as I will have to pay for food if they free food offer isnt on. Can you or anyone recommend any that are a short driving distance from the park. Also a pool is important as my kids love swimming. Thanks x0 -

your kids will LOVE the Explorers hotel pool and play area. Check expedia, travelrepublic, the hotel's own website etc for prices (don't go through Disney). For annual passes, check promoparcs or cemultiavantages (if your children are aged under 7 when you next go to DLP they get a free annual pass for each adult who buys one from those 2 companies). Check DLRPMagic too, for their excellent information on annual passes and blockout dates (as a Fantasy pass may be all that you need, depending on blockout dates in March).0 -
