right....so thanks to you lovely lot I now know about the private shuttle transfers so they are sorted....

Now onto things to do when we are there. We are there december 20-23rd, will the buffalo bill show be on? any other shows? we plan on booking at cafe mickey one night aswell and know we need to book that

apart from Buffalo Bills (yes, it will be on I should think) there are no other shows outside the parks in the evenings. Billy Bobs in the Village sometimes has live music in their bar, sometimes there are bands on the little stage in the Village centre, but apart from that, we usually have our main meal once the parks have closed, do a bit of window (or real ;)) shopping in the Village, then back to our hotel for relaxing baths, bit of TV, then set the alarm for ridiculously early for a holiday morning (for EMH) and sleep!

I love the TGV, we always take it back from DLP to CDG on our last day. Literally 10 minutes journey, and you're there in terminal 2. We usually fly with Easyjet so its another 10-15 minutes walk from there to our gates at terminal 2b.

I'll take the TGV from CDG to DLP if theres one that suits me for time (ie around one hour from when we are due to land) and if its an off-peak price (TGV has peak and off-peak prices).

If the TGV price/time doesn't suit me, I'll use rstransport shared shuttle from CDG to DLP. If often works out just as cheap, and quicker (40 minutes maximum journey time from the pick-up point near the terminal 2b exit), when you add in the walk time to the TGV station and then waiting for the TGV scheduled time.

Buying your TGV tickets at least 10 days in advance usually gets you the cheapest price.

I have booked the rstransport shared shuttle and received an email from BLUE VAN PARIS (all in french so don't know what it says) with an attached voucher. I'm scared to open it in case it isn't from rstransport and is a virus! Is this who you usually receive confirmation from?

    Many thanks x

;) at that time of year you're going to have make a bit of a plan, otherwise you won't see everything.

Go on DLRPMagic and have a good read through the rides, shows, attractions, parades etc. Think about which ones you really want to do and plan around 3 or 4 of them per day.

If you have kids, and you're staying onsite, definitely do Extra Magic Hours every morning that you can. There are generally no queues at all for the half dozen or so rides which open from 8am to 10am (certainly for the first hour) so you can ride them over and over until the park officially opens at 10am.

Another must-do is Dreams at the end of the park day, the main park parade (Magic on parade) at least once, and any special bits they add on for the Christmas season (tree-lighting ceremony etc).

Once Halloween season has started at the beginning of October, they'll start advertising whats to come for Christmas 2012, and then from 10th November the park programme will incorporate the extra christmas bits, shows, attractions etc so you'll have a better idea then what you're likely to be able to fit in each day :).

Thanks a lot! We went ahead and booked the TGV (arrival with EasyJet at 4:30PM and train at 6:00PM) it was 88euro for a return trip for the two of us so it essentially matched/was cheaper than any other options we had. Really looking forward to our trip now! :)

if all your children are aged at least 3, the Explorers I think would be the only one of the associated hotels - but there are apartments in val d'europe, like the resid'home and the adagio, which take a family of 5 :).
  • I looked at Explorers but the trip advisor reviews and pics put me off a bit.
Ill have a look at adagio now, thank you

  • Adagio Marne la Vall!e Val D'Europe seems to be a bit far, was hoping for a shuttle bus to the park.
The Radison Blu offers it but they dont accept more than 4 per room :-(
