How long is a piece of string type of question, it will be whatever it is....

My experience(s), thougts, if it is cold you can wrap up, if it is wet, that in my mind is a different problem, once your wet, no fun at all, put the two together and...well, that is not good especially with kids.

We have been in December a few times now, snow has been on the ground a couple of times and the temperature around 0 - 2.

You need to be prepared for both in all reality!

    We are there december 20-23rd,

Be prepared for it to be very busy, French schools will have broken up and the 22/23 are Saturday and Sunday's.....
  • It will be cold. We went early February this year, & i've never been so cold in my life, -7 was about the best in the day, dropping much lower over night. But thankfully it didnt rain, or i'd have probably cried!

Paris is further south than the uk but it does seem to get colder winters perhaps the weather sites meteo for instance can offer historical temperatures etc but they will be averaged.

At the moment Euro Disney official website has a deal on for booking winter 2012/13 breaks....

Don't forget to look at the other sites when looking for deals - the Irish Disney site was cheaper last year by £100 than the English one based on a like for like hotel / room/ duration / time of year.

Been to DLP twice, once in November and once in April. Both times i could have cried it was so cold. Luckily it didn't rain or i really would have thrown a strop. When we went in April i had to buy a hat and scarf, i live oop north so i'm not a wuss when it comes to the cold either !

I've decided i'm not going again, for me, it just doesn't have the atmosphere that WDW in Florida has, whatever the weather, so i'd rather save and go there instead. Just my choice :)
  • Disney at Halloween and New Year
What happens during these events for a 1st time visitor for these times?
Is it worth buying the special tickets that you can get with the annual passes for halloween as I cannot find much about them plus my french isn't that good. Why cannot Disney do an english version magazine for the annual pass holders does somebody have any info?
    many thanks

New Year is special fireworks at midnight - and the park traditionally hits maximum capacity crowd so it will be shoulder-to-shoulder busy.

I'm sure theres been an English translation of the press release for Halloween night party already. Its just Halloween night thats the extra ticket event in the main park, but there are Terrorific party nights (also extra ticket events) in the Studios park this year.

Believe it or not, when I went in Jan this year, it was rather mild . . . For 2 days I didn't wear a coat and my daughter didn't need her snow suit or boots! However, went in Dec 2010 and it was freezing, so cold we couldn't sit to watch the cars stunt show as you could feel your body getting stiff lol
I think it's just hit or miss, but found going in January alot less busy and hardly any queue's.
